"Aren't you bored?"
The faux blond didn't raise his head from his paperwork, focusing on his task rather than the whining of the young lady that has sprawl on his lavish coach.
"Your highnessss~"
An irk mark appeared on his forehead.
He caught the sound of the rustling of clothes before the sound of the footsteps that slowly became louder in his ears, indicating that person was walking towards him.
A heat radiated from that person who was having no respect for his personal space. Circling his table languidly with a slow hummed fall from her lips.
The prince gripped onto his quill pen much tighter, feeling the soft and high quality fabric brush against his hair. The warm spreading at his side when the person leans forward to see what he had been doing since a few hours ago.
"Paperwork? Boring."
A brush of air came from her mouth, tickling his skin due to their close proximity. An irk emerged on his forehead by the disrespect gesture from someone he had known not even a week yet.
"Princess Camellia."
Alberu's tone was in control, not revealing the crack in his persona even though he knew he can't fool the princess by his side.
'This is the second time, the second person that shows me such disrespect.'
An image of his dear sworn brother emerged in his head before he cringed internally for ever remembering that slacker-to-be face.
However, comparing Cale Henituse and this new person, he preferred Cale more in troubling him.
Ah, he shouldn't say it out loud for that basta*d of sworn brother to hear.
This second person, this princess should be aware of where she was. At a place far from her homeland and in a quiet place where there are just the two of them.
Without turning around and causing a high rate of his blood pressure, he stayed root in this position and addressed the princess that has been barging into his office AGAIN this late at night for two days.
"Yes, your highness?"
He could feel the playful tone in her voice even though it is not obvious. Obviously, she no longer feels scared or threatened by him after coming here every night.
Alberu let out a sigh.
"Go home."
Direct, simple and short command from him. He couldn't have someone to disturb him from doing his paperwork now even though the hand of the clock would hit 3 in ten minutes.
"No."
"No shoe, then."
Gasp.
He could hear an exaggerated gasp from the young woman, making him purse his lips.
'God, give me patience.'
"You can't threaten me like that, your highness."
The next second, his chair was turned around to face the young lady. Camellia has an adorable pout on her face while she is crossing her arms against her chest.
"I can."
"No! You promise to give me my shoe back."
"I did not do such a thing, princess."
Alberu raised an eyebrow. Is this woman trying to gaslight him?
"Okay fine."
Her childish demeanor gone in an instant after seeing the serious face of the crown prince of Roan. She leaned her body against the table and looked at his azure eyes.
