The ending was mostly inspired by The Raid 2: Berandal when the Assassin kills Prakoso. It's a foreign film so not a lot of you will know about it but it's still great. Advice from me, I honestly think you should play the song Sarabande (the video I put) when you see these ****. Got it? Great! Hope you enjoy it!

Malik spent the whole next day training. He was in lock down once more. His punishment for missing his target the day before was no interaction with anyone.

They took his arm away yesterday. It had gotten scratched and bent, they'd fix it up new and return it the next day.

Malik was left wondering. He felt the stump where his arm should be at.

The Doctor told him that they'd made him from a volunteer that gave up his own body to create something that would save mankid. They lied to him.

He had scars all over his body to prove that he had lived. Malik had a life once, if he could, he would like to have it again.

It was later that night that Malik came up with an idea.

He went over to the power box he'd found the night before. He rearranged and rerouted the wires and cords.

One thing the Doctor underestimated about Malik was his intelligence. Malik knew the basics to technology and learned a few things from the books in his room.

He rerouted the wires which eventually, let him unlock his room door.

The man slowly walked to the door. He pushed it open with hardly a sound. Malik looked out into the dark hall.

It was empty.

He walked out briskly, not making any noise. If he happened to run into anyone, he'd hide.

No one knew of the one armed man leaving the lab that night.

Malik was on the street soon enough. He memorized the road to the nightclub from where he met the Assassin.

He got to the nightclub after an hour of traveling on foot.

"I didn't think you'd show.", a voice spoke from behind him as Malik walked down the sidewalk.

He didn't have warm clothes on that windy night. Malik wore a simple short sleeve, a sweater over it and his normal jeans and boots. Boots he had to wear, always.

"I need answers.", he answered as he turned around to face the Assassin.

Altair grinned. "Don't we all?"

They walked around the city for the whole night. No one else was out because of the cold.

Altair explained to him of his life before. Malik had a younger brother, he was an Assassin, an honorable man who always fought for the right thing.

Malik ended up with the Doctor after a mission gone wrong. He, Kadar and Altair were sent to gather information of some sort. Things went sour, Altair thrown out of the room, Kadar killed, and Malik captured.

"I found out later that they'd kept you for days, torturing you for information on the Assassin's.", Altair explained as the walked side by side.

The Doctor had seen how Malik withstood any torture, how strong his mind was. He eventually brainwashed Malik but when that didn't work, they erased his memories and converted him into a Templar. They made him believe he had been built.

The Doctor had found an excuse as to why Malik couldn't remember any piece of his past. When Malik asked him if he'd been built, the Doctor took that as a chance and went along with it.
