First day of school always sucks. I thought I'd do a little something while I still have the time because well, I started school already.

But! Let's see it from my favorites perspective. Loosely, it's based on my own troubles and experience's today. Hope you like it and let me know if you want more.

Tuesday morning.

Altair heard his alarm go off on his nightstand right beside his bed.

The young man groaned as he kept his head burrowed under the covers and reached out with his hand, looking for the alarm clock.

After a few failed attempts of quieting the alarm and falling off his bed with the clock crashing down on his head, Altair groaned once more.

It was the first day of school. Crap. Time to socialize once again with a school full of low lives who didn't even care for education.

After a quick shower, the young man dressed himself and readied his backpack.

Altair dressed in casual clothes, a simple hoodie with his uniform shirt underneath, jeans and sneakers. Why would he ever want to get dressed up for school? It was just school, nothing else.

He stuffed his backpack with a simple notebook, pens and pencils.

School would start in about 40 minutes but he had all those other freaks to worry about. His friends.

And also he needed to figure out his classes since the school board changed the whole schedule around.

Now, they had six classes instead of eight and no homeroom. And to make matters worse, they didn't send anyone letters home saying what class they'd gotten.

Altair quickly threw his backpack on and slipped out of the house without anyone noticing.

He went across the street to wait for one of his 'many' friends. Although it was nice having a neighbor who went to the same school, sometimes that neighbor was quite annoying and got Altair into trouble.

"Hurry up, it was your idea to get there early.", the young man said as he watched Ezio walk from the front gate of his house.

After walking for a few minutes and meeting up with the rest of the gang, Malik and his younger brother, they all went into the school.

Fuck.

So many people. Too many people. The whole place was so crowded. Every which way they turned, a student was no farther than a few inches away from your face.

Altair and his friends went inside the building and looked for the posters scattered all across campus. Each poster held the names and first period class of every student.

"Dude, do you know where 408 is?", Malik asked him.

Altair finally found his own name and room number on the poster before looking back to his friend.

"I'll help you out, don't worry.", he quickly said as they made their way to the second floor of the building.

Malik stopped suddenly when they reached the second floor, "Wait, where's my brother?"

Ah, the infamous Kadar with his disappearing at the worst of times. He did it again.

After Malik ranted on and on about how stupid and idiotic his brother was for just disappearing, the two friends decided to walk the halls and go down a different staircase to look for Malik's class.

"Desmond is in my class.", Altair told him as they kept walking by through the halls. "I checked his name and we have the same first period."

The building was new and the school was being remodeled, the whole campus was practically a different place for every student.
