Ruby: Ok me and cesar are heading to yours

My eyes where heavy as i looked at the text from Ruby fuck i forgot they where coming over. Im wrapped up in Kamari's bed after hours of trying to get him down. I get up to try make myself look more presentable "OW...ow" . Kamari fell asleep with my hair wrapped around his tiny fists, his eyes flutter slightly as i was trying to unwrap my hair in his hand and i stopped everything praying this little fuck didnt wake up.

Okay i probably shouldnt say that but i worked so hard to get him too sleep today and i did not have enough energy to do all of that again. Finally his fists loosened around my locks as he snuggled into his Batman bedsheets. Now my hair looks all kinds of messed up still i could atleast get dressed, i silently tried to sneak out his room. The creaking of his floorboards seemed 10x louder than they ever had before making me cringe.

I let out a sigh of relief escaping Kamari's room just for the door to knock at that exact minute. i guess im not gonna be able to get dressed, oh well looking like a bum it is. The door knocked again but i dont think it was Ruby. I mean like it doesn't sound like him you know when someone's coming up the stairs and you know who it is its like that and it didn't sound like Ruby.

Ignoring the thought i head to open the door just to come face to face with a tatted six foot something cholo with surprisingly beautiful eyelashes. He gives me a once over, smirking  at my confusion. Okay whoever this guy is needs to get his ego in check, then i remembered how trashy i looked right now with my hair sticking out my bun in all sorts of directions and my pyjama bottoms and cami. My cheeks flushed with embarrassment at the realisation. The random Cholo at the door turns round and shouts "Yo Cesar your girls here." I followed the big ass guys gaze to a BEAUTIFUL deep red impala, its sleek coat glistening under the glow of moonlight its gorgeous wait that's irrelevant.

Ruby and Cesar where in the backseat looking like they just had a heated argument. Cesar got out first, looking flustered at The guys remark which i didn't even process until now. I didn't really care i can tell he said it to get a reaction out of one of us and to be honest seeing Cesar embarrassed like that was pretty funny. Ruby got out of the car in a huff side eyeing the kid next too him but switched up and smiled as they walked up the porch. There's definitely a weird kind of energy right now. The tatted guy wordlessly walked away from my door frame not acknowledging me or Ruby as he left saying a goodbye to Cesar.

"who the fuck is that," i asked the frustrated looking pair of boys. Cesar let out a defeated sigh "its just my older brother Oscar, don't worry about it," for some reason making Ruby mutter under his breath. i wasn't worried though it was clear the subject had the boys on edge i don't really care about that though i just wanted to know who the random man who knocked on my door was. "Oh okay thats cool we should probably get started then," i chuckled trying to lighten the atmosphere because it was oddly tense in here. "Yupp we should prima because it looks a mess in here, im gonna make this place my personal hang out spot," Ruby declared walking around inspecting my house. i slap the back of his head making him jump up bumping into Cesars arms, who was biting his lip trying to hold back a  laugh. "No you are not cause no way am i having your sweaty, hormonal teenage selfs up in my house," i dramatically narrow my eyes at him.  He chuckles "okay...okay whatever."

The hours unpacking and setting up my house flew by pretty fast between us arguing, laughing, listening to music and dancing. Even though i dreaded it, i had a shockingly good night i really did enjoy there company. Plus ganging up on Ruby with Cesar was definitely the highlight of my night. He was quickly becoming a close friend we have similar humour and he wasn't nosy either minding his own business and respecting my privacy when me and ruby mentioned my family in passing which i appreciated very much.

We now got too the point of decorating my room which wasn't a priority but It was something i really wanted to work hard on. It was hitting around 12:30am and i was starting to get concerned on how the boys would get home, maternal instincts acting up. We all lay on my queen sized bed which i spent wayy to much on but i deserve it. "Its getting late, how do you guys plan on getting home," i turn to Ruby "also how on earth has your mother let you out this late." i asked raising my eyebrow slightly. He jerked up making my mattress squeak concern written all over his face just as quickly as he sat up he relaxed and dropped his shoulders huffing a breath of relief.

Cesar and me sharing a puzzled glance with each over cause of Ruby's weird ass. "I was supposed to be home at 12 but its cool cause you can just cover for me my mom would never cuss you," he gave me an over the top cheesy smile making me almost see my brain rolling my eyes. "uh i didn't think about how id get home though," he admit saying it quickly and quietly as if that makes it any better. Ill sort it out later.

I turn to Cesar next to me and raise my eyebrow expectantly waiting for him to tell me how he's gonna get home. "oh uh my brothers picking me up," he explains scratching the back of his head "he'll drop you off as well don't wanna stress your beautiful cousin." His sly compliment made me chuckle, i didn't take him as that bold but its cute and i genuinely did appreciate his help. "thank you,"  i replied softly flashing him a sweet smile.

"thank you for your help boys i really do appreciate it," I wrapped my arms around the boys thanking them for there help as the impala pulled up outside my house. "are you sure you don't need help with your room we really don't mind," Cesar offered but with quick opposition from Ruby who groaned almost comically loud, he was clearly tired. I snickered at my lazy ass cousin okay that's not fair actually he has worked hard today i should cut him some slack. "no its fine id really rather do it myself, i didn't know you wanted to get into my bedroom so bad though," i joked with him making my cousin cringe at our banter. Cesar almost choked on the water he was chugging when i said that though making me almost die in fits of laughter.

Honks come from outside urging the boys too hurry up they both gather there things, as i open the door for them. "cya guys then," i ushered the boys outside as i said my goodbyes to them.

A/N: this chapter is not finished and it hasnt been checked but im forcing myself too write on a schedule so ill be dropping it anyways lol ill probably edit and finish it sometime this week.
