Seiko's POV
I arrive at Alterna. The other Agents of the Squidbeak Splatoon are already waiting for me. Only Deep Cut isn't here yet. 'Hey Seiko!' Hideki says. 'How are you? You don't look really good.'
'Oh, just a nightmare... Nothing bad.'
'Sure.' Jun says, and they sound like they're smiling, but I can't see their face due to the gasmask covering their face.'
Then, the kettle rattles and Shiver pops out, followed by Frye and Kaito. 'Heyy!' Shiver says. 'What was the emergency about?' The Squid Sisters look at eachother. 'We.. had a very strange signal.' Callie says. 'Come, we will show you.' Marie tells us, and she beckons us to follow her. We walk up the stairs of the orange building and Callie cuts through the tape on the door. She again repairs it when we are through and opens the door... Our jaws drop as we their secret base. There are screens all around, chairs for everyone, shelfs full of research material, cool lights... 'CANDY MACHINE!!!' Tsumugi screams happily and she runs to it, fills a cup with candy and stands again next to us, snacking out of it. The Squid Sisters explain the basics, but then Marina starts talking with them, and knowing what a tech nerd she is, we start looking around. 'But what did you want to show us?' asks Tsumugi, with a mouth full of candy. 'Oh, yeah!' Callie says. 'Sorry. Look, we got a signal. It was a very strange signal, look.' He clicks on something on one of the computers and zooms in. 'Look, this is the signal.' Marie says. Marina looks at it. 'Weird. I haven't seen any signal like that before.' Callie nods. 'That's what we thought too, and after some research,' she points to one shelf full of folders, 'We saw it doesn't exist. It's from another realm.'
