As the evening approached, Shubh remained seated at his desk, engrossed in his work. The study room was filled with the sound of shuffling papers and the occasional hum of the air conditioner. He was trying to focus on his task, but his mind kept wandering back to his wife's little dance and singing earlier.
After a while, there was a knock on the door, breaking the silence. Shubh looked up from his work and called out, "Come in."
The door opened, and Shagun poked her head in, her eyes searching the room until she found him. She stepped inside, and she smile as she looked at him.
"Hey," she greeted, her voice soft.
Shubh looked up again, his eyes meeting hers. A hint of a smile tugged at his lips as he took in her presence.
"Hmm," he humble, his tone slightly softer than usual. He leaned back in his chair, away from his work, and let out a small sigh.

"Done with your little show for the day?" he asked with a smirk.
Shagun chuckled and rolled her eyes at her husband's words and his obsession with work, he worked like it's a video game, she moved closer to his desk, her steps light and carefree and a little annoying. Suddenly smirk tugged into her lips as she chose the next song to teased him, her tone playful and teasful.
"lucky, lucky girl, She got married to a boy like you.... She'd kick you out if she ever, ever, ever knew,,,Mummy don't know da-" Suddenly she stopped as a palm covered her mouth.
Shubh arched an eyebrow and widened his eyes a little as soon he heard her singing 'unholy' he immediately shot up from his seat, quickly walked towards her.
"Be careful with the songs you choose" he kept his hand placed on her mouth, his fingers gently pressing against her lips, as he continued, "Some of them are a bit... inappropriate"
Shagun's eyes widened in shock as she realized the impact of her choice of song, her cheeks slightly flushed. her expression a mix of embarrassment and a hint of playful defiance.
Shubh let out a soft huff, his eyes soft as he felt her warm breath against his palm. "Buddhu ladki," he muttered, his voice low and gruff. . (Fool girl)
Shagun eyes sparkling with mischief. she tried to mumble something in response, her words muffled against his hand.
"Stop trying to speak" he said in a firm, commanding tone but hint of smile tugged corner of his lips. "Just listen" Shubh's breath hitched as he felt her muffled against his palm. The sight of her pouting lips, even under his silencing touch, sent a jolt through him. He stared at her for a moment and leaned in even closer, his lips almost touching her ear
Shagun felt a shiver of anticipation run down her spine as Shubh leaned in, his lips hovered just millimeters away from her ear. The warmth of his breath tickled her skin, and her heart raced in response.
