Nathan's POV

I drove into my designated parking lot with the lunchbox of doom. I wanted to just leave the food in the car but I decided against it and brought it into my office. Jack called me into his office to review the case again but also to keep an eye on Will. I looked through the car files again, pretending to find the murderer. I feel so bad lying right now....

Hannibal comes in half an hour later. He had a suitcase with him and gave me a smile when he spotted me. "Hello, Nathaniel. It's good to see you. May I ask where my patient is?"

"Will isn't here yet. He has to set up his classroom for a lecture after this. You can wait here and check out the corkboard. Maybe you can find something that we can't?" Hannibal dutifully agreed and we looked through the case file together. It was quite insightful, with Hannibal telling me about the murderer's mental state as he does this but I also felt uncomfortable with him leaning so close to me, his head is literally on my shoulder.

Jack left the room to take a phone call and we were left alone. "What's Will's character like?" Hannibal curiosity must have been unbearable by this point. "He's sweet and a bit talkative towards me but he's cold and quiet towards other people. He doesn't like it when other people are near him and he hates jump scares. He doesn't like teaching but his ability makes it difficult for him to stay in the force, so I've heard....

He tells me that he adopted a lot of stray dogs and he prefers his alone time. However, he often comes to me for some company. "

"What do you usually do while he's with you?" "I'm usually the one talking while he listens. We talked about a few cases and he sometimes tells me about his dogs back at home." By this point, Jack had come back to the room with Will in tow. I moved myself away from Hannibal and greeted him with a smile and a small good morning. It's too early for a cheery one anyways......

Will sat down in one of the empty chairs. Coincidentally, the one next to Hannibal. Hannibal starts doing his thing with Will while I looked through the folder again. Katz is still in the process of checking the girl's body while the boys check for any evidence on where the girl might have been kept.

"Who's profile are you working on?" Will asked, noticing the process. "Who's profile is he working on?" He angrily asked. I felt bad but I know I couldn't stop Jack no matter what. "I'm sorry Will." No, you're not. "Analysing is what we do. I can't have you bite off more than you can chew."

I wanted to nudge Hannibal on the shoulder to make him stop but that would be rude. "Please, don't psychoanalyse me. You won't like it while I'm psychoanalyse."

"Will-" "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to go give a lecture, about psychoanalyse." Will promptly left the room. I give Jack a look of judgement. "Did you really think this was a good idea? Will hated being psychoanalyse more than anything."

"I understand your concern, Mr Meyer but he might needs a few guiding hands to ensure that he doesn't handle too much for his mind." Hannibal tried to reason with me but I just sighed and told the two that I will have to see if Will will be alright after that. I manage to find him, teaching about psychoanalyse funnily enough.

I sat at the back, concealing my presence and joined in on the lecture. It was informative and the way he teaches is very engrossing. The lecture ended after an hour and a half and I waited until all the students were out before going to his table. "I'm sorry about what happened last time." I apologized. I didn't want Will to think that I had any say in this. It just sort of happened.

"It's fine. You know how I'm like. You wouldn't have recommended it to Jake. I see your close to Dr Lecter...." I could feel a hint of jealousy in his voice as he said Hannibal's name. I laughed and told him that we are neighbors. "I only found out about Jack's plan last night. By that time, there was no way for me to stop it. To make up for it, how about I buy you breakfast?" Will gives me a smirk and said sure.

We left his classroom and head to the school's cafeteria. There was still some breakfast food for the students and lecturers to feast on. I had Will find us a table while I get us some food. I grabbed a tack of pancake with just butter and maple syrup for Will and a breakfast burrito for me. Black coffee for the both of us as well.

Will waved to me from the same place we had lunch last time. "I got you some pancakes with a side of coffee with only 2 teaspoon of sugar. I hope this was still your favorite," I said as I say the tray down. I remembered that Will likes to eat pancakes a lot when we were young. "Thank you. That's usually what I eat in the morning anyway." We sat down and ate with some small chats.

Afterwards, I left to my office. I thought about another plan that I've had in mind and decided to move forward with it. I'm going to spy on Abigail's home. Seeing as the scene with Will shooting her father a little too late, maybe I could see if there's a way for me to shoot him from outside.

The kitchen has a window overlooking the yard and if I can find a way to get in there fast enough and shoot him without having Will pull the trigger, that could hopefully stop Hannibal from turning him into his own puppet. I left the office for a bit, telling Jack that I have a doctor's appointment today. Hannibal was gone when I came to Jack's office.

He'll be checking in on Will again tomorrow, "Is this really a good idea, Jack? I know Will and he would try to avoid the session." I tried to reason with Jack but he was adamant on letting Hannibal psych evaluate him to continue this case. I stopped asking after that and left the precinct to my house. I checked all the cameras to ensure that Hannibal wasn't home before heading there to switch my vehicle.

A motorcycle is a lot faster and smaller than a car. Which means, I can easily hide it somewhere far without drawing too much attention to myself or the vehicle. I also made sure to change my clothes and put on a fake disguise that looks normal but not in any way familiar to how I look.

Luckily, I worked in a precinct and manage to find the Hobbs family address. I removed any traces of my finding before heading to the location. There was only Abigail's mom home when I arrived. I checked the back and there was no fence. The window to the kitchen is in clear view and I could shoot without any difficulty. After making a few plans and calculation of the property, I left.

I made sure that I left no tracks of myself coming in here and I did go to the hospital with my car for a health examination before coming here as the Nathan before was in a car crash and had a pretty bad head injury. So, he has to have a check up every 3 months or so. This way I would also have an alibi if it ever pops up.
