A moment later and everyone I came here with came filing out. The ones who were enjoying their women were mad at me but I didn't care. I could've sworn I got a nod of approval from Teedo but when I looked back his face was stone. Just like Lucas. Joey smiled and nudged my shoulder but I was too angry to be appreciated.

"Let's get out of this city before they find the body." Lucas orders

"They probably already know boss. Those girlys are still screaming." Joey jokes "You think they ever saw a corps before this?" He nudges me again.

"That's why we leave now," Teedo isn't pleased with the situation. "before authorities arrive."

"I am the authorities," Lucas states "If they think I'm going to bend to their will because some nobody tries to touch what's mine then they'll know the full extent of what the mafia is capable of."

"So why were we hiding when we entered if you don't care if she kills someone?" Some young blood mafia member asks.

"You're just bitter you didn't get your cock sucked before we left." Joey says

He was enjoying his woman quite well. However, his comment infuriates Lucas. "We weren't hiding fool. I was keeping us away from conflict. Unfortunately, that failed." He glares at me

This time it's not as effective. I'm still angry at him. I wish there was some form of conflict to swing my sword and burn off the rage I still have inside.

Teedo puts his hand on my shoulder as if to say 'Calm down'. He's the only one who doesn't anger me. He trained me. Made me stronger. Braver, too I suppose. I can't even glare at him.

As a duckling would follow their mother hen, we follow Lucas. I'm no longer forced to stand next to him. Me and Joey walk together in the back in silence. Nice and simple.

We hear the murmurs in the neighborhood as we exit the center of the city. They've lost their smiles and are just watching us now. They know.

"They know about the bathhouse." Someone in the front says.

"Is it just me, or do you also miss their creepy smiles," Joey whisper and yells as he waves at the people we pass.

"Stop it!" I slap his hand down "you're just drawing more attention.

"I'm not the one who killed someone." Joey shoots back. He flicks my forehead, so I trip him and make him stumble forward. The cheap playful shots continue as my walk through the city streets.

"Enough." Teedo says "I can here you two fighting from up here."

"Sorry." We both say.

"How come nothing is happening?" Someone in front of me says

"What are you talking about?" Another says

"They know what she did. This place doesn't let things go. What's going on?"

"It's not dark yet." I hear Teedo again "They only take justice in their hands at night where nobody can see it."

I nod my head remembering what happened last time. "I don't think they'll do anything." Joey says lazily

"Why so optimistic?" The same young blood says "You think they won't kill a girl."

I grip my katana but Joey slaps my back hard enough to knock the air out me. "No. They'll kill a woman. They just wouldn't kill Lucas's woman." Joey states

He scowls then turns away.

"What? You wanna be his woman?" Only Joey has the courage to tease people like he does

"Joey. You're walking on thin ice." I say

He snickers "You're so scary Tibby."

I took the hilt of my katana and hit him in the gut. He starts caughing and almost falls.

"What's going on back there?" Teedo yells

"Nothing" I say. Surprised to hear a few agree. Looks like Joey irritated them enough to get along with me for once.

The walk in the city is refreshing if you have the ability to block out the citizens creepy gaze. That bath made me feel cleaner then I ever felt before. Even if it ended poorly. It gave me a thought...
I jog up to the front where Lucas is to ask him what's been on my mind.

"Um boss?"

He just keeps looking forward. I guess I should continue instead of waiting for a response.

"Do you have a bathhouse in your city?" I finally ask

"I do." He still doesn't look at me

"Oh." I don't know where I'm supposed to go from here. This wasn't meant to be weird. It's always weird with him.

"Why?" He interrupts my train of thought

"Oh, I just liked it, is all." I say more awkward

"Enough to kill." He says sarcastically

"No. I wouldn't kill in your bathhouse." I slide my palm along my face. "I didn't mean that."

"So you would?" Is he teasing me?

"No."

There was silence for too long.

"Is yours better then theirs?" I point to a random person glaring at us.

"Everything I have is better. Do you know why?" He asks rhetorically

"Why." I have a feeling he'll tell me anyway

"Because it's mine. I'm my City. For my Mafia." He states while looking at me.

"OK then." I wasn't sure what he was getting at but it sounded like asking him if I could use it would be pointless. He wouldn't share what's his.

"You may use it if you behave on this trip." He doesn't look at me but I dont think he's lying.

I just nod my head and fade into the back next to Joey. "So you wanna take another bath with the boss huh?"

"Shut up!" I aimed my fist at his face but he expected it.

If he wasn't joking most of the time people would acknowledge him more. He's the strongest fighter next to Teedo. Lucas only tells me the names of people that's around him the most or those that he wants me talking to. He never told me most of the men here's names so I don't bother memorizing them.

I listen to conversations. Learning what I need to. But names are for Lucas and Teedo to tell me. If I don't know, I just give them nicknames till they move on. Like this Young blood. For his ignorance and stupidity throughout our trip. The small mistakes stand out enough to make me question why he's here.

Then Jr. Another nickname. Mostly because I've heard others call him little man and he's so friggin huge.

These thoughts keep me distracted until what may or may not happen tonight.
