The days after Fourth's confession to Gemini passed in a haze of tension. The mansion, once their refuge, now felt like a battleground where words could wound as deeply as any weapon. The cracks in their relationship, once hidden beneath the thrill of the chase, had now split wide open. Every conversation felt like walking on a razor's edge, and neither of them seemed capable of stepping back from the brink.

Prasit's presence lingered like a ghost between them, and despite their mutual promises of loyalty, both Gemini and Fourth found themselves haunted by doubts they couldn't shake. The world outside their walls was dangerous, yes, but the real danger now seemed to be within their own hearts.

It all came to a head on a sweltering evening, the air thick with humidity and tension. Fourth was pacing the living room, his mind racing as he tried to make sense of the chaos that had overtaken their lives. The sound of Gemini's footsteps echoed from down the hall, growing louder as he approached. When Gemini finally appeared in the doorway, his face was a mask of anger and exhaustion.

"We need to talk," Gemini said, his voice clipped.

Fourth stopped pacing, turning to face him. He could feel the confrontation looming, like a storm gathering strength on the horizon. "About what?"

"About us," Gemini replied, his tone sharp. "About what the hell is happening between us. Because right now, I feel like I'm losing you."

Fourth clenched his fists, trying to keep his emotions in check. "You're not losing me, Gem. But this... this thing with Sathit, with Prasit—it's tearing us apart."

Gemini's eyes flashed with anger. "You think I don't know that? You think I don't feel it too? But we're in too deep now, Fourth. We can't just walk away."

"I know that," Fourth shot back, his voice rising. "But what I don't know is if there's still room for us in all of this. Or if we're just kidding ourselves."

The words hung in the air like a guillotine blade, ready to fall. For a moment, Gemini just stared at him, his jaw clenched, his breathing heavy. Then, with a sudden burst of emotion, he strode across the room, his anger boiling over.

"You're really asking me that?" Gemini shouted, his voice filled with pain. "After everything we've been through, after everything we've done—you're questioning if there's room for us?"

Fourth felt his own temper flare, fueled by frustration and fear. "Yes, I'm questioning it! Because right now, it feels like you care more about revenge than you do about us. Every move we make, every decision—it's all about Sathit! Where does that leave us, Gem? Where does that leave *me*?"

Gemini's hands balled into fists at his sides, and for a terrifying moment, Fourth thought he might actually throw a punch. But instead, Gemini turned and slammed his fist into the wall, the impact sending a shudder through the room. The sound of cracking plaster filled the silence that followed.

"You don't understand," Gemini said, his voice low and ragged. "You can't understand what he took from me. What he did to my family. This isn't just revenge—it's justice."

"Justice?" Fourth echoed, his voice trembling. "Or obsession?"

Gemini spun around, his eyes blazing. "You're the one who wanted to stay, Fourth. You could have walked away a hundred times, but you didn't. Don't act like you're the victim here."

Fourth recoiled as if struck. "I stayed because I love you! Because I thought we were in this together. But now... I don't know what we're fighting for anymore."

The tension between them reached a breaking point, and suddenly, the distance they had fought so hard to close was wider than ever. Gemini took a step closer, his voice a low growl. "You think you're the only one with doubts? You think this is easy for me? I'm trying to protect us, trying to keep us alive—and all you can do is question my every move."

Fourth's anger flared, and before he could stop himself, the words burst out. "Maybe I'm questioning you because I'm scared you're going to get us both killed!"

The silence that followed was deafening. They stood there, breathing hard, eyes locked in a battle of wills. The air between them crackled with tension, and then, in a flash, the anger exploded into something else—something darker, more dangerous.

Gemini lunged forward, grabbing Fourth by the shoulders, his grip bruising. Fourth responded instinctively, shoving him back. They collided, bodies slamming together as the argument turned physical. Furniture toppled, glass shattered, and their world seemed to spiral out of control.

But even in the midst of the violence, there was something else—something raw and primal that fueled their rage. Pain and passion intertwined, blurring the lines between love and hate. And as they grappled with each other, the intensity of their emotions ignited into a frenzy of desire.

Their fight gave way to desperate, heated kisses, their bodies colliding with the same force as their words. They tore at each other's clothes, driven by a need to feel something—anything—that could drown out the fear and uncertainty. It was a reckless, dangerous intimacy, born of pain and fueled by the fire that had always burned between them.

By the time they collapsed onto the floor, tangled in each other's arms, the mansion around them lay in ruins. The shattered glass and overturned furniture were silent witnesses to the chaos that had just unfolded.

For a long time, they lay there in the aftermath, their breathing heavy, their bodies slick with sweat. The adrenaline still hummed in their veins, but the fight had drained them, leaving only the raw, aching truth.

Gemini was the first to speak, his voice hoarse. "I'm sorry."

Fourth closed his eyes, the weight of the apology settling over him like a blanket. He knew that words alone couldn't fix what had broken between them, but in that moment, he needed to believe that they could.

"I'm sorry too," Fourth whispered, his voice trembling. "I just... I don't want to lose you, Gem. But I'm scared. I'm scared of what we're becoming."

Gemini's grip on him tightened, as if he could hold them together by sheer force of will. "You won't lose me," he promised, his voice thick with emotion. "I don't care what it takes, Fourth. We'll get through this. We have to."

They stayed like that for a long time, holding each other as if they were the only things keeping the world from falling apart. But deep down, they both knew that the cracks in their relationship had been exposed, and that the battle was far from over.

The next morning, they would have to face the consequences of their actions, both inside and outside the mansion. Prasit's manipulations, Sathit's looming threat, and their own unresolved fears would all be waiting for them.

But for now, in the quiet aftermath of their lover's quarrel, they held onto each other, hoping that their love would be enough to carry them through whatever came next.
