Here's the continuation:

San's eyes remained fixed on the task at hand, his mind consumed by the intricacies of power and control. He didn't notice the darkness creeping in outside, the shadows cast by the flickering fluorescent lights growing longer and more ominous.

Time lost all meaning as he worked, the hours blurring together in a haze of adrenaline and calculation.

San's eyes flicked to his watch, the dim light of the room illuminating the face. 3:47 AM. He cursed under his breath, remembering Seonghwa hyung's strict rules.

"Damn it," San muttered to himself. "Seonghwa hyung will kill me."

He quickly gathered his things and made his way out of the room, his footsteps echoing down the deserted hallway. As he walked, everyone he passed bowed their heads in respect, their eyes cast downward.

San's gaze swept over them, his expression stern. He nodded curtly, his mind already focused on the impending lecture from Seonghwa hyung.

As he turned a corner, he spotted Yunho standing  outside the door. "Yunho," San said, his voice low. "Make sure the remaining work is taken care of.

Yunho bowed his head, his eyes serious. "Yes, Boss."

San nodded and continued on his way, his heart sinking with every step. He knew he was in for a long night.

As San opened the car door, he hesitated, his foot hovering above the step. A faint whimpering sound caught his attention, carrying on the night air. He turned his head, scanning the darkness.

The whimpering grew louder, and San's eyes narrowed. He walked towards the sound, his footsteps cautious. A small, crumpled form lay on the side of the road, partially hidden by the shadows.

San's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the black cat, its sleek fur matted with blood and dirt. The cat's eyes, a piercing green, locked onto San's, and it let out a pitiful meow. San's gaze fell upon the cat's twisted leg, the bone shattered and protruding from the skin, the surrounding flesh torn and lacerated. A deep gash ran along the cat's side, exposing its ribcage, and its fur was singed and burned in patches.

Without thinking, San scooped up the cat, cradling it in his arms. The cat nuzzled its head into San's chest, its cries growing weaker. San's heart raced as he searched for any signs of life, his fingers tracing the cat's fragile pulse. The cat's breathing was shallow, and its body trembled with each labored heartbeat.

"What happened to you?" San whispered, his voice softening.

The cat's eyes fluttered closed, and San feared the worst. He gently stroked the cat's fur, trying to comfort it, but the cat's injuries seemed too severe, its chances of survival slim.

San swiftly moved to the back seat of his car, the injured cat cradled in his arms. He ordered his  servant, who was driving. "Faster, Jae-ho! Get me home now!"

Jae-ho nodded and stepped on the gas, speeding through the streets. San's eyes remained fixed on the cat, its labored breathing and fragile form filling him with a sense of urgency.

As San stepped out of the car and went to his mansion, Seonghwa was already waiting at the entrance, his arms crossed and a stern expression on his face. "You're late, San. Again," Seonghwa began, his voice firm but familiar.

But before Seonghwa could continue lecturing, his eyes fell upon the injured cat in San's arms. His expression changed in an instant, concern etched on his face. "What's going on?" Seonghwa asked, his voice softer now.

San's face twisted in worry. "I found it like this. I don't know what happened, but we need to save it." He yelled at Jae-ho, who was still standing by the car, "Call the doctor now! I need someone here ASAP!"

Seonghwa nodded, his eyes never leaving the cat. "Get it inside, now. I'll call the best vet in the city."

As San hurried into the mansion with the cat, Seonghwa followed closely behind, his phone already in hand. "I'll get Dr. Ryli  to come over immediately," he said, his voice calm and reassuring.

San nodded, his eyes fixed on the cat's fragile form. "Make sure she's the best, hyung. I don't want anything to happen to this cat."

( A/n pov: San himself don't know why he is this much concerned for this cat. But one thing is for sure that he can't let anything happened to it).

Seonghwa nodded, his expression understanding. "I'll take care of it, San. Just get the cat comfortable."

Here's the continuation:

San carefully scooped up the cat and carried it to a quiet room on the second floor, away from the hustle and bustle of the mansion. He gently placed the cat on a soft, cushioned bed, and covered it with a warm blanket.

Just as San was trying to comfort the cat, he heard a knock on the door. "Come in," he called out.

The door opened, and Dr. Ryli entered, her medical bag in hand. "San, I heard you had an emergency," she said, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on the cat.

San nodded, relief washing over him. "Doc, thank you for coming. I found this cat outside, and I don't know what happened to it."

Dr. Ryli's expression turned sympathetic as she approached the bed. "Let me take a look," she said, gently examining the cat.

After a few moments, Dr. Ryli looked up at San, her face serious. "This cat has been badly injured. We need to act fast if we want to save it."

San's heart skipped a beat. "Do whatever it takes, Doc. I don't want anything to happen to this cat."

Dr. Ryli nodded, her hands moving quickly and precisely as she began treating the cat's wounds.

Dr. Ryli finally finished bandaging the cat, her face etched with concern. "This cat has been through a nightmare," she said, shaking her head. "Its leg was shattered, and its internal organs were severely damaged. It's like it was born broken, San."

San's eyes widened in horror. "What do you mean?"

Dr. Ryli's voice was grim. "I mean, this cat's injuries are not just from a simple accident. It's been subjected to severe trauma, possibly even abuse. Its bones were fractured, and its skin was torn apart. If you hadn't found it when you did, it would have died a slow and agonizing death."

Seonghwa and Yeosang gasped, their faces pale with shock. San felt a wave of anger wash over him, his fists clenched in impotent rage.

"How could someone do this to a defenseless creature?" Yeosang whispered, his voice trembling.

"Who can do this to a poor soul? This world is horrible, truly horrible. There's no excuse for such cruelty." Seonghwa said with unshed tears.

Dr. Ryli's expression was somber. "I've seen some terrible things in my career, but this...this is something else. This cat's injuries are a testament to human cruelty."

San's eyes locked onto the cat, his heart heavy with emotion. "We'll do everything to make sure it gets the care it needs," he vowed. "It'll never suffer again."

Dr. Ryli nodded, her eyes filling with tears. "I'll do everything I can to help it heal, San. But it's going to be a long and difficult road."
