Next morning:

San walked into the room, and his eyes immediately went to the cat. Doctor Ryli was sitting beside it, monitoring its condition.

"How is it?" San asked, his voice soft.

Doctor Ryli looked up and smiled. "It's better, San. But we need to take more care. The injuries were severe."

Just then, Hanbin toddled into the room, his big round eyes fixed on the cat. "Kitty wowwy! Kitty okay?"

( A/n pov : I don't know about u all but Hanbin is cutie 😘).

San smiled and scooped up Hanbin. "Yes, baby. Kitty is getting better. Doctor Ryli is taking good care of it."

Hanbin looked up at San with a curious expression. "Kitty name?"

San thought for a moment. "Let's name it Kuro, okay?"

Hanbin nodded enthusiastically. "Kitty Kuro! Hanbin love Kitty Kuro!"

Doctor Ryli chuckled. "I think the cat has a new friend, San."

San smiled, feeling a warmth in his heart. "Yes, I think you're right, Doc."

Just then, Seonghwa and Yeosang walked into the room, Seonghwa carrying a bag. "Hanbin, it's time to go to kindergarten!" Seonghwa said firmly.

Hanbin crossed his arms and pouted. "No, Mommy! Hanbin want to play with Kitty Kuro!"

Seonghwa sighed.  ( U guyz even named it )."Hanbin, you can't miss school. Besides, Kitty Kuro needs to rest."

Hanbin shook his head. "No! Hanbin want to stay!"

Seonghwa looked at San, exasperated. "San, can you please convince him?"

San chuckled and knelt beside Hanbin. "Hey, little one. You know, Kitty Kuro needs quiet time to get better. But I promise, you can play with Kuro later. And think about all the fun you'll have in kindergarten!"

Hanbin looked up at San, his eyes uncertain. Seonghwa added, "And Yeosang will take you to school, okay?"

Yeosang smiled and held out his hand. "Yeah, buddy! Let's go have some fun!"

Hanbin hesitated, then took Yeosang's hand. "Okay... But Unca, you take care of Kitty Kuro, okay?"

San smiled. "I will, Hanbin. I promise."

As Yeosang and Hanbin left, Seonghwa turned to San. "Thanks, San. I don't know what I'd do without you."

San smiled. "Anytime, hyung. That's what family is for."

San gave Seonghwa a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I've got this. I'll take care of Kuro."

With one last look at the cat, San turned and headed out of the room, his mind already focused on the day's work ahead. He had a few important meetings to attend to, and he needed to make sure everything ran smoothly.

As he walked out of the house, San felt a sense of responsibility wash over him. He was not only the mafia boss but also a caretaker to his family and now, to Kuro, the little ball of fur who had already stolen his heart.

San got into his car and drove off to his first meeting, his mind racing with thoughts of work and Kuro. He couldn't wait to see the little guy again and make sure he was doing okay.

Now days went by:

Kuro was still weak, but he was making progress. He had finally awoken from his fainting spell and was now able to eat and drink on his own. San was relieved to see the little cat's eyes brighten up whenever he approached.

Doctor Ryli had told San that Kuro needed plenty of rest and care to fully recover. San made sure to visit him every single day, bringing warm milk and soft food to help him regain his strength.

As Kuro lay on his side, San gently stroked his fur, speaking softly to comfort him. "You're doing great, little guy. Just take your time, okay?"

Kuro purred weakly, his eyes fixed on San's face. San smiled, feeling a deep bond forming between them.

Seonghwa entered the room, "San, how's he doing?"

San looked up, "He's getting better, slowly but surely."

Seonghwa nodded, "Good. I'm glad to see him recovering."

As the darkness receded, his eyes fluttered open. The room was shrouded in shadows, but he could sense the weight of someone's gaze upon him. He lay still, his heart pounding in his chest.

Suddenly, a low whisper seemed to caress his ear, "Hey, buddy... you're awake."

He nodded, his mind racing with questions.
