"She. Did. WHAT?!" I stand in the middle of the school hallway with Billy and Stu. Just this morning, I thought everything was fine. What in the world is happening?
"She called the cops on me, and I had to spend the night in jail." Billy rubs his arm. Oh God, I can't imagine how he feels. I rub my eyes; this is giving me a headache. And the screams from the other kids pretending to be the killer don't help at all, but it is funny to see how some of them dress up in the Ghostface costume and run down the hallways.
"Are you okay? How in the world did that happen?" I lean on my locker.
"I just wanted to visit her, but the door was locked, and I heard shouting from inside, so I climbed through her window. She started shouting about the killer being after her, and then the phone fell from my back pocket. You know I like to play with my dad's phone sometimes. Well, she thought I was the killer and ran out of the house, told the police, and they took me." He does like to take his dad's phone; it's not a big surprise.
"She was NOT having it, nugget. Didn't even want to listen to Billy-fully thinks he wanted to kill her."
I hug Billy tightly; he did not deserve this. He's Sidney's boyfriend-seriously, what is that girl thinking?! Couldn't she at least let him explain why he had the phone? What a stubborn bitch. ...I could treat him better...
"Tatum took her to her house to spend the night."
"Let me guess, she encouraged Sidney to ignore Billy, right?" I don't let go of Billy, and he suddenly hugs me back. God, I love this boy.
"Yep! She's kind of annoying, don't you think?"
Tatum does get a bit violent and disrespectful with Stu sometimes...most of the time. I don't like that. At all.
"...To be honest... yeah, she definitely is. ...Are you okay with how she is, though? I worry about you, Stu, and the same goes for you too, Billy." I don't want some skanks to take advantage of my best friend and my long-term crush. If they want to be with them, then at least treat them right. That is my unpopular opinion.
"It's okay, angel, not for long," Billy winks at me. I hope my face isn't red because I can feel it burning, but wait—what? Where is he going?
"Wha-"
"Yeah, nugget, don't worry. Actually, I decided to b-" Stu doesn't finish since Tatum and Sidney are walking towards us. Where did Billy go?
"Did you hear the murderer is at school?" Stu says, giggling like a child. I just roll my eyes at him; he'll never change, and that's what makes him special.
"Murderer? You're referring to Billy?" Sidney looks at him, shocked.
