"Aaahh, my voice is basically gone!" Venti whined, rubbing his throat as the group left the venue.
Scaramouche smacked the back of his head. "That's what you get. Its your fault for deafening everyone with Hu Tao."

Hu Tao folded her arms sloppily, raising her eyebrow. "Is that supposed to be an insult!" She croaked, with a broken voice.

Xingqiu laughed, before yawning. "It's time we should all get home, yeah?"

Ganyu nodded, with a worried look on her face.
"..I've never been out for so long! Its already 11pm... Keqing, your parents wont mind taking me along with you when they pick you up, right?"

Keqing shook her head. "My parents love you. Anyways, see you, everyone. Make sure you all go home straight away and get some sleep! We've got school tomorrow."

Everyone groaned and began parting ways in groups or alone, until the only people left were;
Xingqiu.. and.. Chongyun..

Chongyun tapped his foot awkwardly, clearing his throat.
Xingqiu looked up at him and raised his eyebrow questioningly. "Something you wanna say?"

Chongyun faced the ground, before quietly saying; "I'm uh.. walking home. If you are, too, we should walk together."

Xingqiu smiled, before dragging Chongyun along the street in the cold night.

The two walked shoulder by shoulder, quietly.
"Winters coming along, huh?" Xingqiu broke the silence, nudging Chongyun's hip.

Chongyun nodded. "Can't wait. Summer's been a real kick in the ass. I can barely breathe."
Xingqiu laughed loudly. "You're so dramatic, Yun!"

They continued on their walk, soon walking past a park.
Xingqiu grabbed Chongyun's hand and pointed at a pair of swings.
"Hey, Yun, if youre not in a rush to go home, mind sticking with me for abit?" He pleaded.

Chongyun sighed, nodding. He knew of Xingqiu's past, his childhood and all of his family problems. "You don't feel like going home yet, huh?" Chongyun said, sitting beside Xingqiu on a swing.

Xingqiu looked down at his feet, kicking them around in the air. "You know me all too well, Yun."

Chongyun silently huffed, a silence breaking out once again between the two boys. In a way, it should be awkward, right? But for some reason, the two never shared an awkward moment together.

Sitting in silence together was a form of comfort itself, and Xingqiu was glad Chongyun was so understanding of him.

Xingqiu looked back up and pointed at the slides a few feet away. "Ah, Yun! Don't you remember the time you fell down the slides when we were kids?"

Chongyun's eyebrow twitched in annoyance before he snapped at Xingqiu. "Shut up! You just love to bring up such embarrassing things!"

Xingqiu giggled, rubbing the boys shoulder in comfort. "You were crying so much!! And your face was so red, it was honestly adorable!"
He then continued;
"You're always so adorable, Yun."
Xingqiu let out his inner thoughts, and before he could realise, he, too got embarrassed of what he just said.

He looked to the side, where Chongyun was sitting silently.
Chongyun was avoiding any type of eye contact with the boy, but even in the dark park, only lit up by streetlights, he could see the entire mass of red that had taken over Chongyun's pale face.

Before Xingqiu could speak again, Chongyun let out an exhale, cold smoke blowing out with his breath into the cold night air.

He slowly looked up at Xingqiu, blushing and all.
"Xingqiu.. What am I to you?"

Xingqiu was taken aback by the question, quickly covering his mouth with his hand.
"W-What?"

Chongyun pouted in annoyance. "What are we, Xingqiu? I dont get you. I dont get it at all."

Xingqiu looked down awkwardly, before standing up.
"We're bestfriends, aren't we Yun? Now cmon, lets go home." He said quickly, whipping around, feeling his cheeks become hot.

Chongyun sighed. It wasn't the answer he wanted to hear, but then again, he too, himself, didn't know what they were. He didn't know what to call it and he certainly had no right to act all disappointed.
"..Okay." He muttered.
