Author's note: Part 36/??
"My little Non." The man repeated, squeezing his tiny body.
"Warut, stop squeezing your son and let him breathe." Grandma Chor appeared behind them. Nonsee gasped in surprise, pulling away as the old man reluctantly released his hold. He scanned the person in front of him, taking in his appearance. As soon as he recognized his father, his eyes moistened almost instantly.
"Dad?" His voice trembled.
"It's me my little Non," Warut assured him. A loud sob escaped Nonsees lips, and again he jumped into his father's arms.
"I am sorry son for leaving you," Warut whispered. Non shook his head, dismissing the apology.
"I don't want to ruin your moment, but let's go inside." Grandma Chor smiled at the two hugging guys. They let go of each other, and Warut led his son towards the house through the short gravel path. Pat and Grandma Chor followed close behind them.
The house his father lived in wasn't big or small. The size was just right for the small family to live in. Warut showed them around, leaving the garden at the end. Nonsees eyes took in the beauty of the colourful space.
"I tried to make it colourful, hoping you will see it one day," Warut confessed.
"It's so pretty, Dad. You did a good job." Nonsee praised his effort. His heart felt strangely peaceful, with Grandma Chor, his boyfriend Pat, and finally his father by his side. Suddenly the idea of meeting mother and grandmother Klin didn't seem so horrifying anymore.
