Liam Rodriguez

"Who's my sweet girl, who's my lovely sister.......hmm is it you Luna.....is it you?" I asked
"Babba.....abubab...." Luna replied in her baby voice
"Yeah that's right it's you who else could be so sweet and cute" I agreed

The sound of someone's footsteps echoed through the living room
I looked behind me to see Jace coming in through the door
"Hey Jace, about time you came to see Luna" I said
But he didn't seem to have heard what I said.....and completely ignoring me he comes to stand my by side, looking intently at the baby in my arms
But before I could say anything else he grabbed Luna from my arms and took her in his
" Hey Luna girl do you know me?" He asked her in a ridiculous baby voice "It's Bubba jace your best brother....and trust me when you get older you will definitely say that" he laughed
It was hilarious seeing my best friend Jace the cold blooded businessman cooing and coddling a baby......
Good god do I look the same while playing with Luna
"Okay okay.....now if you are done squeezing the fuck out of my Little sister give her a little rest" I said
"But... but look at her she's so chubby and cute and so so soft how can you not squeeze her" Jace complained
"I swear if it weren't for the deal with Iran's I would have been here from the day she was born"
"Yeah I know " I said softly
Jace had to accompany his father on a deal with Irani's but where his father came back 2 months ago and visited Luna already, Jace had to stay behind to look after work
"But now that the deal is done Luna and I can spend more quality time together " he said
And now it seems that for the first time in life I will have to share my bestfriend with my little sister.

After playing with Luna for an hour or two Luna began to fuss indicating she was either hungry or sleepy or pissed off by looking at Jace's face for too long.

"Give her to me she needs her mama now" I said just as Luna began to cry in earnest.

I went upstairs with Jace following me to mom where she was working with dad and Mike on something and handed Luna to her.

As mom took her left the office
Jace and I took a seat
Dad greeted Jace and asked him how the deal with Iran's went and if there was any problem in work

"Everything's fine uncle and how's it's going with Russians?" Jace asked
Jace's family was very close to our family and his father and mine were best fucking friends so it was common for him to know all about our business and for us to know all about his business .

"That's the reason why I want you and Liam to listen to what we have heard about the Russian's new leader..."
And with that dad once again became the head of American Mafia
After about an hour of discussion and making strategies , Jace and I stepped out of office.
"You think Russians are gonna be a big problem now with their new leader and all?" Jace asked as we made our way down the stairs in living room
"After hearing about their new head ...seems like this one is definitely more clever than that old fucker.....but we are no less are we..." I answered evenly
"If he is that smart ....He wouldn't make the mistake of messing with us"

"Yeah man the bitch wouldn't make the mistake..... anyway so wanna burn some anger let's go to the ring"

"Hell yeah let's go"

After 4 four hours off fighting in the ring with Jace and some other fighters,
I made my way back to home.

As I passed the guards while parking my Mercedes in the garage I heard someone calling my name
"Hey Liam" I looked behind to see it was Mike
"Hey Mike what's wrong?" I asked
"Ohh no nothing's wrong" he answered
"Your dad just wanted you all five boys to start your morning training with me'

"But dad have already trained us everything especially Alexander and me"
I asked

" Yeah son but he is your father even if you best him he still would want you to be more stronger than everyone "

I sighed , there was no argument to dad being a dad .....no matter how much we grow he will never stop worrying about us.
"Alright see you tomorrow"
I said him
He gave me a nod and went to double check the security
As I made my way inside I heard the sweetest giggles coming from behind the couch
As I got closed to the couch I saw Luna on carpet sitting by herself playing with her stuffed panda
With Brayden sitting on couch keeping a close eye on her while trying to concentrate on reading his book. And failing miserablely.
At my footsteps he looks up to me and narrows his eyes
Surely not Happy and irritated by me interrupting his time with luna... I just don't understand this kid he is even jealous to share Luna with her own family.....I don't know what will happen once she gets a boyfriend
Not that she will have one till she is 30 maybe 40 I don't know.....not anytime soon or I don't know what I will do to him.

I silently made my way towards luna who is too engrossed in trying to eat the panda's face to notice me

Sensing someone's presence ....she turns to look up to me but I grab her before she could see me .

Luna's always been a peaceful baby and doesn't makes a fuss about being in embrace of different people so she doesn't shows much of a reaction instead of holding the panda somehow even tightly.
And then she looks up at me with her big brown eyes and gives me a fucking adorable smile that melts my heart.
Are all babies suppose to be this cute or is Luna somehow special
But I know that with dangers lurking....I will protect this smile all my life.
