Chapter :-4

For the past few weeks I have been suspicious as to why mom was not well....thinking that it might be indigestion.
What I Was not expecting as they came from hospital was that I was going to be a big brother again.
A big brother to a little sister.
My little sister.
I immediately went to hug mom, tears brimming my eyes,she hugged me back as tightly.
"I am so happy mom"
"So am I baby ,so am I "
"How long ......how long before the baby comes?"
"4 to 5 months" father said smiling down at mom.
5 months is all i have to wait for my little sister to born, for the youngest Rodriguez to come.
I turned to look at my brothers finding them all as shocked as I was....seems like I was the first to recover from it.
Soon enough Alexander, Roman , Ethan and Brayden followed hugging and congratulating mom and dad.
"Finally......finally after raising all you ungrateful brats god has finally given me the blessing of an angel....i am so happy today" Grandfather declared .
I rolled my eye at his overdramatic behaviour.
"Aiden ain't you a lucky bastard, you are blessed with a daughter....but remember the new child will have two dads..."
"And two moms........"aunt mary said
"And 8 brothers...."Damien declared.
We all laughed
As the conversation went on ........my phone buzzed .....it was a message from jace my best friend,Unlike me Jace's family wasn't mafia though they sure as hell were one of richest and most influential family in America, His father and mine were pretty good friends too.
His father though a business tycoon was just as ruthless as mine and Jace was the same as me...we were both aware with the dangers of world.
"U ready for tonight's party.....?.."
I texted him back
"Yeah dude meet me at 10 .......gotta tell you something important"
"What is it? Any trouble?"
"Nuh-uh rather a happy news"
"Couldn't wait to hear"
I closed my phone and smiled thinking about my new sibling.
Family is everything that's what our father has always taught us and for me too anything doesn't matter as long as my family is happy and safe.
Being the second Eldest comes with responsibilities towards my parents and my siblings.....and now there's a new reason to be more careful, more responsible and more brutal for every possible danger that may harm my family.
The danger of Enemies always surrounds our family ,hard as it was, we have chosen this life for ourselves to protect our family from other predators we have to be the most vicious ones.
Looking at clock I saw it was already past 9, thinking it was time to get ready I got up.
Soon by 10 I was in front of Jace's House .
As I made my way through the house I was stopped shortly or rather I found myself irritating hand on my chest making me cringe.
Claire's hand was dangerously descending towards my crotch "Hey baby I missed you .....u wouldn't answer my phone or reply to my messages I am
upset....wanna have some fun"
I grabbed her hand barely resisting the urge to break her wrist .
Before I could shut her tramp of a mouth Jace came from behind me and beat me to it "Hey Liam....watcha doin' here let's go to the pool the real party's there.....ohh hey Claire didn't see you there...but what are you doing here I don't remember mentioning the party to you and considering this is my house ..."
Claire's face flushed bright red, glaring at Jace she stuttered "I...uh I that....I thought the party was for everyone you know "
Jace smirked "oh is that so..."
"Will see you later baby"Claire spoke and hurriedly went in another direction.
"Thank fuck Jace you saved me"
Jace laughed "yeah dude now you owe me one.... though I wonder what magic fuck did u gave her that she wouldn't leave you alone"
I sighed "Don't know man ...bitch had deluded herself to believe we have a relationship that doesn't fucking
exist...all I did was fuck her one time "
"So what were you gonna tell me about?"Jace asked
The change in subject instantly brighten my mood .
We went near the pool in a little seclude area getting beers from the kitchen on the way
I smirked " yeah about that so you know Mom's pregnant we are having a new family member..."
Jace's eyes widened
I continued "and I am getting a baby sister" I finished
If I didn't had the same reaction as Jace I would have laughed my ass off at his face.
Mouth agape he continued to stare at me.
"What.....ho...how...."
I patted his back.
Deep inside I was smug...Jace was a single child he had always wanted a baby sister. Though I envied the poor guy a few hours ago for his peaceful life I was quite content with the new addition.
"Man....please tell me you are going to let me meet her as soon as she is born.
I would want her to know that she atleast has one sane brother....oh oh god she would be so tiny"
I narrowed my eyes at him .
She wasn't even born and she already was creating a group of fans in her wake.
But I considered Jace as a real brother...so my sister is his sister and I knew as long as the baby had Jace with her he wouldn't let anything happen to her.
