HAILEE STEINFELD : ELIANA

It had been seven years since the incident that had changed her whole life. El was placed in a foster home with Talia Al Ghul. Who had turned out to be an assassin. Talia trained El to be an assassin in secret. No one except Talia, herself, and, for some reason, Lady Shiva, knew she existed.

Eliana was placed in a secret base, cut off from the world, and even the League of Shadows.

She later had overheard Talia tell Lady Shive, "Young minds are easier to mold into weapons." She was right.

Talia forced El into harsh training. Punishing her whenever she messed up or showed emotion. El never forgot the circus. Her memories with Dick.

One day, Talia went out for a mission in Gotham. And never came back. El was sent out into the streets. She had no money or food. Forced to live in the shadows of Gotham.

Alone.

BREAK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the bustling city streets. Among the crowd, Eliana stood with her guitar, strumming and singing. El often went busking, as a source of money, it wasn't much, but enough to keep her alive.

Her voice, clear and soulful, floated through the air, drawing the attention of passersby. Her hat that she had picked up from a dumpster was placed in front of her, slowly filled with coins and bills from appreciative listeners.

Eliana closed her eyes, lost in the music, unaware of the figure standing at the edge of the crowd. The woman, with long brown hair tied in a ponytail and lightning bolt earrings dangling from her ears, watched her intently.

As Eliana's song came to an end, the crowd erupted in applause.

The woman approached Eliana, waiting for the crowd to disperse. El tensed up, her assassin instincts taking over.  "That was incredible," she said, her voice cutting through the noise of the street. Eliana looked up, surprised. "Thank you," she replied, a shy smile spreading across her face.

Grace handed her a card. "I'm Grace, a music agent. I see a lot of potential in you. How would you like to take your music to the next level?"

Eliana's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you serious?"

It felt weird for El to be showing emotion, she had been trained not to. But, if she was to maintain a civilian identity, she would have to pretend to be an overly ecstatic teenager with boy problems and a hate for school.

"Absolutely," Grace nodded. "With your talent, you could become a star."

BREAK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The lights shining brightly on her. The crowd chanted her new name, "Nova! Nova!" She took a deep breath. From busking on the streets to becoming a pop sensation, her journey had just begun.

Ok, so that was a short chapter....

I will post soon, and we will make it a vigilante chapter. I'm tired- and I need coffee. So time to go downstairs and pull a Timothy Drake by raiding all the cupboards and pantry for caffeine.
