Thirteen, wherein Jihoon and Hyunsuk swim the tumultuous waters of love, battling societal expectations and familial disapproval. And choosing a life of simplicity over wealth looked like their only option for happiness.

Hyunsuk sat at his sleek, modern desk, surrounded by sketches of his latest fashion designs. The sun streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of his penthouse apartment, casting a golden glow over the room. His brows furrowed in concentration as he meticulously shaded a piece of fabric on the page. Yet, despite his focus, his thoughts kept drifting to the man who occupied a permanent space in his heart—Jihoon, the man who stole his heart.

A soft sigh escaped his lips as he leaned back in his chair, letting his pencil drop. The memory of Jihoon working at his garage earlier that day flashed in his mind, the image of his boyfriend's muscular, tattooed arms flexing as he tightened a bolt, his shirt discarded somewhere on the floor. Jihoon had been completely engrossed in his work, the sheen of sweat on his skin only adding to the raw, rugged allure that made Hyunsuk's heart race.

Hyunsuk didn't care if this was a fetish and Jihoon knew better not to tease him about it.

Hyunsuk would proudly say it was easy to fall in love with Jihoon. How can he not? His boyfriend was a full package. Jihoon looks like a fierce leopard but inside is just an overgrown puppy. Despite his rough exterior, he was the gentlest soul Hyunsuk had ever known.

Just as he was about to return to his sketches, the sound of the door opening echoed through the apartment. Hyunsuk's heart skipped a beat, knowing exactly who it was. He turned in his chair, and there he stood—Jihoon, tall, handsome, and as dashing as ever. His presence filled the room with an intoxicating mix of love and warmth that made Hyunsuk's breath hitch.

"Hey baby," Jihoon greeted with that signature playful grin that made Hyunsuk's knees weak. He sauntered over, his movements fluid and smooth, like a predator approaching its prey. Hot, Hyunsuk thought.

But there was no danger in Jihoon's approach, only the promise of love and affection.

"JIHOONIE! YOU ARE BACK," Hyunsuk screamed in excitement. He didn't wait for Jihoon to reach him. Instead, he practically flew out of his chair and into his boyfriend's waiting arms. Jihoon caught him easily, wrapping his strong arms around Hyunsuk's smaller frame, lifting him slightly off the ground.

Their lips met in a kiss that was both tender and passionate, a perfect blend of their contrasting personalities. Jihoon's lips were soft, but his kiss was firm, confident, as if he was staking his claim. Hyunsuk melted into the kiss, his arms looping around Jihoon's neck, fingers tangling in the hair at the nape of his neck. The world outside ceased to exist as they lost themselves in each other, the only sounds in the room the soft sighs and hums of contentment escaping from their lips.

When they finally broke apart, both were slightly breathless, their foreheads resting against each other. Jihoon's dark eyes bore into Hyunsuk's glazed ones, a teasing glint shining in them.

"Missed me, Hyunsukkie?" Jihoon asked, knowing all too well he did. Both did.

Hyunsuk pouted, a habit that Jihoon found irresistibly cute. "Of course I did. It feels like you're always working."

Jihoon chuckled, the sound deep and rumbling in his chest. "I have to, baby. Gotta make sure I can spoil you properly, right?"

Hyunsuk rolled his eyes, but his heart swelled with affection. "As if I need spoiling. I already have everything I could ever want." He reached up to trace the lines of Jihoon's jaw, his touch light and reverent. "Especially you."
