TAEHYUNG's pov
•——————————•

Taehyung's gaze remained locked on the hospital room door, his hands tightly clutching the sheets. The only word echoing through his mind was "Allah." He couldn't recall anything from the past ten years except for that one word. Confused and frustrated, he bit his lip, trying to figure out why it kept repeating in his head.

Just then, the sound of the door knob turning interrupted his thoughts. His attention snapped back to the present as Jungkook walked into the room, followed by Mr. Kim.

Jungkook's eyes met Taehyung sitting on the bed with a blank expression. The sight of him, alive and unharmed, made Jungkook's heart feel like the pieces of his shattered world were being put back together. A single tear rolled down his cheek as a shining pearl.

"Taehyung!" he called out, his voice still shaky.

Taehyung looked up, locking eyes with Jungkook. "Dude, just wipe your tears. I'm not dead yet !," he said with a small smirk.

Jungkook let out a chuckle by wiping his tears. "Seriously?!, You're still joking around even now, Taehyung?"

Taehyung sighed. "What's there to be serious about? I feel like I've been given a second chance to rewrite my life."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, confused. "Rewrite it? What do you mean?"

"Yeah," Taehyung nodded. "From what I can tell, my life wasn't great before, and I don't even want to know the details. It's time to start fresh."

Jungkook smiled through his pain. "So you really don't want to remember anything from before?"

Taehyung shook his head. "Nope. I saw the look on Uncle's face earlier. My past must have been pretty messed up."

Jungkook glanced over at Mr. Kim, who just shrugged and mouthed, "He's making the right choice."

Jungkook bit his lip before responding, "Alright, I'll respect your decision, Taehyung. Just let me know if you need anything. I'm here for you."

Taehyung nodded and smiled and then asked. "Where are Dad and Yu Jin?"

Jungkook froze when he heard Taehyung's question. He wasn't sure if he should answer or just keep quiet. He shot Mr. Kim a frustrated look. Mr. Kim shook his head, mouthing, "Don't tell him."

Taehyung glanced at Jungkook and said, "I can tell from your eyes something's wrong, so it's cool. Don't say anything. I'm okay with the memories I have now."

Jungkook smiled to himself, thinking, "Why are you so cool Taehyung? You're choosing to forget your past, knowing how tragic and painful it was while I would be hella disturbed not remembering my past." His smile slowly faded as thoughts of Sana came to mind. "But there's one thing you'll regret not remembering, Taehyung. Your 'Red Petal'—she's waiting for you to complete your love, I'm afraid what if her wait turns into an eternity ?." Jungkook's thoughts were interrupted when he felt Taehyung's hand on his shoulder.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung as he spoke, "Jungkook, there's just one thing I want you to help me remember from my past, just one thing." Jungkook's eyebrows raised as he sensed some kind of determination, wondering if Taehyung still remembered a small part of Sana. He glanced at Mr. Kim, then nodded eagerly for Taehyung to continue.

Taehyung felt a shiver run down his spine as he began to speak. "I want to find Allah. I don't know why, but this keeps echoing in my mind."

Jungkook's eyes widened. "Wait, you remember Allah? What about Red...?" Before he could finish, Mr. Kim interrupted. "Jungkook, we need to see Taehyung's doctor and pick up his meds," he said firmly. Jungkook let out an annoyed sigh and shot Mr. Kim a look. Mr. Kim's gaze was stern as he headed for the door by saying. "Let's go. I'm not going to say it again."
