Sana was in her room, packing her bag for the trip to Dubai. She sighed, zipping her suitcase after making sure everything was in order. "Alright, I think that's everything."
Just then, Salman entered the room holding two-year-old Hessa in his arms. The little girl's face lit up when she saw Sana, and she called out in her tiny voice, "Ella! Heja's Ella!"
Sana's heart melted at the sound of her niece's voice. She smiled and reached out, gently taking Hessa into her arms. "Oh, my cute Heja," she cooed, brushing her nose against Hessa's. "You know, while your dad and uncles call me princess, you gave me the best name ever—Ella, just like Cinderella."
Hessa giggled, placing her small hands on Sana's cheeks. "Ella is so cute!" she declared with all the confidence of a toddler.
Sana laughed softly, pinching Hessa's cheek. "No, Heja, you're the cute one."
Salman stood by, watching their sweet exchange with a soft smile. Then his expression shifted slightly as he cleared his throat. "So, Princess," he said, his tone becoming serious. "Why the sudden trip? You didn't let the business team know about it."
Sana glanced at him and shrugged apologetically. "I know, Salman. The invitation was pretty last minute, and with only a day left, I didn't have time to organize a meeting. But don't worry, I asked Rachael to inform the team."
He nodded, though there was still a hint of concern in his eyes. "Alright. It's just a three-day business trip, right? Make sure you stay safe."
Sana gave him a reassuring smile. "I will. Don't worry, Salman."
Salman pursed his lips before adding, almost reluctantly, "But we'll miss you."
Touched by his words, Sana shifted Hessa to one arm and pulled Salman into a hug with her free arm. "I'll miss you too. Just hang in there for three days."
When she pulled back, Salman playfully reached for Hessa. "Alright, come here, sweetie. Appa has a surprise for you—chocolate!" He gently took Hessa from Sana's arms, the little girl already excited at the prospect of chocolate.
Sana smiled as she watched them leave the room, the door closing softly behind them. She took a deep breath and turned back to her suitcase, making one final check to ensure everything was packed. Then she was about to leave the room when she heard a familiar sound—a soft meow coming from her dressing table.
She walked over and found Zoe, her cat, sitting there with a half-heart charm bracelet dangling from her mouth. Sana's eyes softened as she recognized the bracelet—it was the one Taehyung had left for her.
"Zoe," she whispered, gently taking the bracelet from her. "Thank you for reminding me." She carefully slipped the bracelet onto her wrist, a bittersweet smile tugging at her lips. "You're just making him proud, Zoe. Your daddy would be so proud of you."
