It was going to rain soon, he knew that. But he couldn't just have the heart to turn away like everyone else had. He was hurting, badly. A new reality had dawned upon him and he was staring at it in form of the gravestone in front of him.
Was it really her in there or was it just a dream? If it was, he wished more than anything to wake up from it and find himself in her warm embrace while she shushed him that it was fine. His eyes shut to stop his tears from falling, to shield him from the view, the truth about the situation. Then, came the downpour. At first a drop, then it fell. Yet his feet stayed planted firmly on the soft soil. He knew she wouldn't want him feeling like this, being pathetic like this yet it was all he could do.

"Where have you gone to leaving me all by myself, he said, the rain beginning to lessen.
"I want to ask why, why me, why you, why us
But I am unable to,
I want to tear the heavens and the earth to find ways to bring you back,
But I am unable to,
What do I do now, Jawhar,
Our hearts beat as one but fate had other plans
Would I have instead, you in my stead and me six feet under?
No, that would hurt you too much for me to even bear,
Yet I would be comforted knowing the world would still be warm and glowing with your smile,
The winds would still be able to carry your laughter,
Your warm scent would fill the hearts of those who you hug with hope and tranquility,
Life would be so much better with you around,
While I would watch you do all of that,
But I am still unable to,
Your eyes have closed forever, where does my soul find it's way back home now?
Your hands are cold and unmoving, where does my heart find solace?
Your voice has been sealed away from my ears, where does my mind find ease?
By Allah's Will, I will wait patiently,
Through every tear, through every heart ache,
I will hold on to the memories we shared, like it's the only light guiding me through this darkness,
By Allah's Mercy, we'll meet once more,
free from pain and sorrow, with eternity in store,
My love, my Jawhar, my whole existence, my all
Please wait for me, until heaven unites us"

He then turned, with a heavy heart and walked away from the grave. Every time he took a step, each foot felt heavier, but he just had to. He just had to.
