𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 to take the girl to one of their house. The boy in the middle insists on his house, since his parents aren't very aware of things.

I help them take the girl to his house, I ended up giving her my jacket, since all she had on was an over sized shirt, she was freezing.

We get to the boys house where we all sneak in and go to the basement. The girl sits on the couch as we all stare at her, thinking of what to do. "Is there a number we can call for your parents?" The boy, whose house we are at, asks the girl.

Another boy, with a hat asks, "Where's your hair?" He asks, "Do you have cancer?" He asks another question. "Did you run away?" The other boy asks.

I ask a serious question, "Are you in some kind of trouble?" I ask her. "Is that blood?" The boy asks, reaching out for her.

The boy in the middle slaps his hand, "Stop it!" He yells. "You're freaking her out!" He tells her. "She's freaking me out!" The boy yells back. "I bet she's dead." The curly haired boy says.

I shake my head. "She's not deaf. She is clearly hearing all the stupid questions you all are asking." I point out rolling my eyes.

They then turn to me. "Who are you?" The curly haired boy asks me. "Delilah Jones. The chiefs daughter." I tell him. They all have a scared look. "Shit." One of them say. "Are you going to tell on us?" The curly haired boy asks.

I shake my head. "If I told on you, I would be telling on myself." I say to them. They nod, their gazes returning to the girl. "She's just scared and cold." I point out to them.

The boy in the middle runs over to a laundry basket, grabbing some clothes. A big bang of thunder comes and scares the girl. I kneel down my her and rub her knee. "It's okay, it's just some thunder, it can't hurt you." I assure her.

She nods. The boy comes back with some clothes. "Here, these are clean." He hands her. "Okay?" He asks. She takes the clothes looking at them, placing them on her face.

She takes off my coat and stands up, starting to pull off her shirt. The boys freak out and I chuckle a little. The girl looks at me confused. "Here, I'll take you to the bathroom." I tell her.

I look at the boy, "Where's the bathroom?" I ask him. He points, "Over there." He tells me. I nod to him, taking the girl's hand and leading her to the bathroom.

She looks around and I start to close the door. She grabs it and stops me. "You don't want it closed?" I ask her. "No." She tells me. I smile at her speaking to me. I nod my head, "Okay, I'll leave it cracked and I'll stand right here." I tell her. "Okay?" I ask.

"Okay." She tells me. I smile at her before I turn around to let her change. After a few minutes later she finishes and I go back to the boys, who were talking about how the girl may be psycho.

"We are doing wills plan of letting her stay here tonight and then finding somewhere else for her." I tell them. "Who are we to listen to you?" The curly haired boy asks. "I am the chiefs daughter, I know quite a bit." I tell him. He scoffs, "Fine." He says.

I help the boy set up a fort for the girl, getting her in bed. "I have to go back to my home, but you will be okay with him." I tell her. She nods her head.

I look at the boy. "What's your name? So I can catch up with you all later?" I ask him. "Mike Wheeler." He tells me. My face is shocked. "Nancy's brother?" I ask him. He nods, "It'll be easier to catch up after all." I say to him.

I say goodbye to the boys and sneak out of their house, the rain had let up some but it was still raining. I get back to my house, sneaking back into my window.

I change out of my wet clothes and into come warm one. I lay in my bed and start thinking of the place I went to tonight, through the portal. Could that be where Will is?

...

I'm walking to my locker when I see Steve, Nancy, and all there other friends hanging out. "I'm in if Lilah goes." Nancy says, pulling over to them.

I give her a 'I'm gonna kill you look.' "I'm not sure Delilah is in to party's now." Carol smarts. I look at her my head tilted. "Hell." I say, "I need a good party, I'm in." I say, looking at Steve with a smirk.

He looks like he could vomit seeing my smirk, "Oh, God." Carol says, her eyes looking at something behind me. "Look." She tells us.

I turn my head to see Jonathan putting up posters, probably ones about his brother. I feel sick seeing him, knowing I know what happened to his brother and he doesn't even believe me.

"Oh, God, that's depressing." Steve says. I roll my eyes at his comment. "Should we say something?" Nancy asks, before I can agree with her Carol interrupts, "I don't think he speaks." I roll my eyes at the comment too.

"How much you want to bet he killed him?" Tommy asks. I'm sure it was to Steve, those two are like to Jack-asses in a pod. "Shut up." Steve chuckles.

I see Nancy's face change before she makes her way over to Jonathan. Before I knew it my mouth flies open. She has more courage than me.

We all watch as she talks to him. "She's crazy." Carol says, which earns her a look from me. Nancy looks back at us and I give her a smile before she turns back to the boy.

The bell rings and I take the opportunity to get away from this group, as I am walking away I feel eyes staring at me from behind. I turn around and meet eyes with Steve, who quickly turns his head back around. Odd.

"Attention, faculty and students." The PA system comes on, "At 8:00 p.m. tonight, there will be an assembly on the football field in support of Will Byers and his family. All are encouraged to attend." I listen to it until someone starts talking to me.

"Hey." An unfamiliar voice says beside me. I look and see the boy from the other day. "Oliver, hi." I say to him, giving him a soft smile. "Are you going to the assembly?" He asks me.

I think about the party, do I really want to go to that? I nod my head, "Yeah, are you?" I ask him. "I am now." He grins to me.

I can't help but smile back. We continue walking in comfortable silence until we get to his class, "This is me." He says to me before walking in his class.

My stomach feels weird. No. I can't.

...

It's finally time for the assembly, I'm walking in the stands scanning it for the blonde boy until my eyes land on him. I smile as I walk up to him.

He scoots over for me to sit. "Hi." He says as I sit, "Hello." I greet him back. The assembly starts just as we sit, after a while it was just the same thing over and over.

I begin thinking about the party, how Carol and them are making fun of me for chickening out and how Nancy is probably mad for me not coming.

I look at Oliver, "Wanna go to a party?" I ask him. He looks at me, "Sure." He says. We get up and leave the football field. "Here we can take my car." He says, stopping at a blue car.
