Thoughts and flashbacks are in italic...(At Singhania Mansion)
Aviraj's POVJust how many times Aviraj hoped for Saras's safe return, he had no idea. But one thing he knew - that if something happened to Saras, he would flip. When he heard the news of Saras's disappearance, he felt his heart stop beating. He was alive but not at the same time; without his most important person, his world stopped functioning.
He tried every possible way to find his beloved. The name Aviraj Singhania promised immediate action. It had enough power to shake the government, but he deemed it all useless because if his power and status couldn't guarantee the safety and whereabouts of his Suru, then it was of no use. He was going insane when suddenly his team got an anonymous intel on Saras's location. At first, he didn't want to trust it, but it was their only hope, so at last, he informed Bhavneet, as he was the one officially investigating Saras's case.
He waited impatiently for further news, and when Bhavneet informed him they found Saras, he almost bolted for his private jet, only stopping because of his younger brother's consolations. Aviraj hugged him tightly at that time; the boy was only a teenager but was more mature than most adults he knew.
He reluctantly stayed back, but f_ck, he couldn't stop smiling. It had only been a day since Bhavneet informed him, and the only thing he did was stare at his customized ceiling, thinking about the moments Saras and he spent together - unhealthy, he knew, but he couldn't stop himself.
His thoughts wandered to the very first time he saw Saras.
-:Flashback:- (Thoughts are in bold)
That day Aviraj came back home with his PhD. His father was so happy he was already determined to assign him as the CEO of their company. He couldn't be more happy; he made his family proud.
They had a little celebration as he was tired and retired to bed. The next day, after breakfast, he and his younger brother, Aarsh, went to a nearby park for a little walk. Aviraj was admiring the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful scenery when his eyes landed on someone.
Aviraj stopped in his tracks; he could tell his brother was saying something, but he couldn't hear a word, too busy admiring a particular stranger.
There was only one word he could describe that stranger with - Ethereal.
Toned body, honeyed skin, beautiful brown eyes, and that mesmerizing smile; living definition of perfection.
Angel? He childishly questioned himself. Aviraj felt butterflies in his stomach. He had to talk to that beautiful stranger; he just had to. He took a step towards him but stopped in his tracks when he felt a soft fur ball run into him.
He looked down and picked up that little furball. Suddenly, a little girl came running to him, "Oh Cupcake! How many times I've told you not to run around like that!" The girl scolded the puppy. "Hey, it's fine, don't worry; he's not injured." Aviraj gently handed 'Cupcake' to her. "Now, now, don't get angry." He said. "Thank you, Bhaiya. I'm Meera; what's your name?" Meera asked, with an adorable 'front tooth missing' smile.
"I'm Aviraj, and this is Aarsh, my little brother." He introduced. "Hey," Aarsh greeted nonchalantly. Aviraj shook his head; Aarsh and his cold attitude to strangers was nothing new, but in reality, he was shy and wary of strangers. His Aru often got his shyness misunderstood for rudeness. He turned to Meera, not wanting her to misunderstand his brother too, but the little girl only giggled.
