3rd Person P.O.V.
A stoic teacher walked into a silent classroom. Bandages masqueraded around his body, prominently battered and bruised: an arm quite clearly missing from his right side.
"Morning, class," he remarked in a monotone voice, devoid of emotion.
The class stared at him, stunned: They knew he was left to fight alone in the apotheosis of the battle but were unaware of his current state.
"I'm glad you're all okay concluding the events of the USJ incident.
As you all know, UA holds a yearly sports festival. However, due to the recent circumstances, that will be canceled. While the administration would like to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever, they cannot knowingly put the student body in danger after the League of Villians attack."Everyone remained silent, gloom filling the air. The students were all roughed up themselves. Despite knowing the threat of holding the festival, class 1-A was melancholy. They just needed something to distract themselves from what had just happened, the reality of the hero profession.
One brunette in the back of the class shakily raised her hand.
"Yes, Uraraka"
She asked the question they were all wondering: the factor they all wanted to forget.
"Is Midoriya really a villain?"
The silence was deafening. There was a drawn-out pause before the teacher spoke.
"It's rational to believe so."
....
"Midoriya, I have a pesky task for you to complete."
"Goodness, what is it now? We already attacked that useless hero course at the USJ. Already planning to strike again? I know it's been a couple months, but still, that's a little brutal even for you."
"No, of course not. This has nothing to do with that." Shigarki croaked out in annoyance, his red eyes glaring at the male conversing with him. "There's this guy, a real piece of work. I've been trying to get him to join our cause, but he's too self-righteous. I want you to give it a shot: you've already seen how corrupted heroes can be. All you need to do is convince him to join. He has a lot of fans, and we need to build our numbers. If it comes down to it, you can kill him."
"I suppose that doesn't sound too god awful. But when am I supposed to talk to him? Do you want me to call him up and invite him for tea?"
"How the fuck are you so stupid? Go to Hosu with him and help him scout out some heroes; it'll help you get experience anyway."
"I've got enough experience. Within a month, I'd killed more people than I count on my fingers and toes! Stop making me do your scut work."
"Just shut up and go. I don't have time for you to throw a tantrum. Your new support gear just came, brat."
...
"Hey buddy, how ya doing?"
"Who goes there!"
Shouted a clear villain; he preferred the title vigilante, but the outfit and swords weren't helping. He was obviously shocked as he had just been wandering the alleyways searching for unfit heroes; he hadn't even realized someone else was there.
"Don't worry, I'm here to help. I know just how terrible heroes can be. They wear their capes and masks as if to hide their true faces, faces that reveal the sickness festering within their hearts. They revel in their fame, flaunting their power, and yet, what have they truly accomplished? They bask in the glory, while the streets remain unsafe, while the oppressed cry out for help. I understand your cause: they're all truly fakes."
"While I applaud your reason and passion, I work alone. I don't need help, especially not from a mere child."
While Stain refused to allow the kid to join him, he was startled by the boy's little speech. He wasn't expecting to find someone so young who fervently shared the same logic as him.
"Oh ho ho, not too fast. While you may view me as weak and a nuisance, I can be useful. Besides the red strings of fate have brought us together, who are we to defy them?"
'More like the red eyes of Shigaraki, but he doesn't need to know that.'
"Is helping me all you're looking to gain? Is there truly no ulterior motive for your being here?"
"Smart one, aren't you? I have a proposition for you, but I was hoping to ask once we got... closer."
The boy grinned, placing a finger to his mouth in a shushing motion. Stain could sense the malice. He didn't like it. He agreed with everything the boy was saying, but the vibe he gave off irked him.
"I guess I'll have to wait. If you're going to follow me around like a parasite, can I at least get a name to call you by?"
Midoriya paused; he didn't want the Hero Killer to know his name and wasn't sure what else to call himself. Then it clicked.
"Deku, call me Deku."
"Hmm, well Deku, what's your quirk? So I know what I'm dealing with."
"Don't got one."
Deku knew he had a quirk, but it didn't matter: it was too unstable. Everyone guessed he was quirkless, so he just went with it.
Stain grunted and turned around, realizing how long this conversation was drawn out. He had work to do.
'you should grab one of his swords and kill him. Look how it gleams in the moonlight; a nice shade of crimson would suit it well.'
"shut up," Deku mumbled, ignoring the voice's morbid recommendations.
Not long after, Stain had found what he was looking for. He arched his back, licking his lips. Bloodlust bursting within him. Walking down the street was a hero patroling. The man was dressed in a silver outfit, resembling a medieval knight.
...
"How'd it go with that Hero Killer?" Shigarki's scratchy voice questioned.
"Let's just say that Pro Hero Igenium will be out of commission for a while."
Deku giggled, a grin prominently plastered across his face.
'you could've made it forever.'
"Did you ask the bastard to join or just go around fucking stabbing people?"
"Well, what am I supposed to say? 'Hey, I'm part of the League of Villains. You should help us kill your hero, All Might, even though we're complete strangers!' No, who the hell says that. You gotta ease him in."
"You ungrateful brat, I'm not stupid. Get it done, I don't like waiting around."
"Understood, sir!"
Deku proclaimed, doing a playful salute.
"Oh, by the way, we're releasing some Nomu in Hosu."
"Why?"
"I like that it almost rhymes."
"You're shitting me."
"The dumb Hero Killer is making me mad, so I want to relieve my anger. Besides, after seeing that display of strength, he'll be more convinced to join our side."
"You're crazy."
"You're crazy, fuck off."
"What do you want me to do during the attack?"
"I don't care, I'm not your babysitter. Go have another playdate with Stain again, kill someone or something."
"I thought you didn't like him?"
"I don't like you either."
