──── Mingyu's POV ────

Tomorrow's the day, the day I confess to...

Jeon Wonwoo.

I'm sure of it! I mean, he keeps on rejecting other students letters, right? Maybe he's just waiting for me to write one and accept it!- No, no, no, You're too delusional Kim Mingyu, calm down.

But, will he? Jeon Wonwoo's the smartest out of all the smarties, people say he's the next Albert Einstein, even being in a class full of Einstein clones too? A dream out of a dream, yet, I'm here, in the lowest ranked class, it's a bore, everyday we get scolded for being too 'absent minded'.. I get it though.

Maybe dumb people are his type, so that he can teach them... I'm probably being too unrealistic.

I've seen how sad and disappointed other students who confessed getting rejected by that cold heartthrob, I don't wanna end up like them, even the thought of it makes me depressed.

────୨ৎ 3rd Person's POV ୨ৎ────

Mingyu sighs, admiring the love letter he just wrote, folding it and sealing it with the best heart sticker he could find.

He lied down on his bed, smiling fondly for what's to expect tomorrow, easily drifting off to sleep.

Mingyu jolts up awake, still groggy after the 9 long hours of sleep he had.

Normally, it'd take an eternity for him to sit up from bed, but today, he immediately got himself to stand, feeling energised and excited for the letter he put effort and dedication in.

For this special occasion, he took a long, nice shower, dressed up nicely and cleaned even his room! The amazing things a love letter can do.

He carefully placed the note in his pocket, afraid to make an unnoticeable wrinkle on it, "Alright Dad, I'll be off now!" He shouted, putting on his shoes, heading for the door. "Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" Mingyu's Dad shouted back, a bit concerned on why his son isn't eating breakfast, and going to school early.

"I'm fine Dad, bye!" The sound of a door shut filled in the silence of Mingyu's house, as the jolly man skipped his way to school, a smile plastered on his face never disappearing.

There stood in front of Mingyu was the school entrance, him feeling tense, nervous, excited, a mix of emotion swirling inside of him.

As he took a step into the area, everything started to sink in, different scenarios and thoughts playing through his head, which are mostly negative, as his hands start to sweat.

You can do it Mingyu! Go get that man! Was the only things he could say to motivate himself, his eyes scanning the school entrances, every door and corner, not missing out a single spot on where Wonwoo could be.

And there he was, the dreamy man walking down the stairs in such elegant movement, according to Mingyu.

He took out the letter, rehearsing the things he'll say, before urgently walking up to Wonwoo, blocking his way.

────୨ৎ Mingyu's POV ୨ৎ────

"U-uhm, hi, I'm uh- Mingyu from Class F, please accept my letter." I stuttered, come on Mingyu, why did you have mess up already?

I anticipated his answer, watching him unfold the letter, scanning through the content inside, trying to ignore the crowd of people watching over us.

He quickly looked at the letter then back to be, I literally felt the coldness from his gaze, and he's already done reading it??

"Hm. No, I won't." He said straightforwardly, w-what? That's it, no 'sorry, maybe someone is out there for you'?

If we were alone, I would feel sad, but in front of many people like this? I felt humiliated, is this the guy I've been swooning over the past 2 years? All this dedication for a bland response?

I was frozen like a statue, unable to move due to shock and... rejection. Why am I so stupid? The signs were already there, yet I ignored it and continued to be so stubborn and ruin my life anyways.

────୨ৎ 3rd Person's POV ୨ৎ────

Mingyu stared at the spot where Wonwoo was once standing, humiliated, heartbroken, angry. He liked this boy to just be rejected, left alone in the dust, hearing murmurs of other students surrounding him,

"He actually confessed knowing he'd get rejected? Does he want to ruin his life?"
"He really thought a dumb kid like him would be together with a smart person like Wonwoo, unbelievable."

Mingyu slowly walked away from the crowd, going in small, saddened steps, forgetting the about the surroundings around him. "Mingyu-ah!" Mingyu stepped back to reality, turning around to see who called him, "Oh, Jeonghan hyung, Seungkwan." He called over his friends. Fortunately, whenever something happens to Mingyu, Jeonghan and Seungkwan are there for him.

He slowed down his steps, waiting for the 2 boys to catch up with him, "Yah, Kim Mingyu, are you okay?" Jeonghan slings his arm over Mingyu's shoulder, "I heard the news, you confessed to the mighty Wonwoo?" Seungkwan gave a concerned look, seeing the rejected boy giving a small nod with a pout on his face, "Why? You know you'd get heartbroken, why ruin your life?" He lightly smacked Mingyu's head, earning a small whine from him.

"Whatever, let's go to class, forget about that cold boy, and enjoy class!" Jeonghan dragged his arms towards their class, pushing Mingyu to his seat, "Lighten up Mingyu, you can't go through a day at school looking so depressed." He comforted, patting his head.

"Mingyu!" Mingyu's head perks up, looking towards the direction on where his name was called, "Ken..?" He mumbles, watching the man and his friends rush over to the 3, "Mingyu, are you okay!?" Ken grabbed Mingyu's shoulder and shook him.

"What did that jerk say? Why did he reject a guy like you-!"
"Ken too close!"

Mingyu pushed him away, straightening his clothes, "It's none of your business to begin with." He crossed his arms, looking away. "Ken, it really isn't the time to bother Mingyu like this." Seungkwan narrowed his eyes, Ken was their classmates, and obviously shows that he has a crush on Mingyu for the past few years, but kept on getting friendzoned.

"Whatever, but hey, isn't today you'll move to your new house with your dad?" Ken asked, "Uh, yeah, it's today, why'd you ask?" Mingyu sat up straight, "Is it alright if we help? I mean it's a lot of boxes... can we?" The other man tilted his head, "Wait, actually, that'd be a big help." Mingyu's eyes sparkled, a small smile forming on his face.

"So after school then?" Jeonghan sighed, "Yep, 4:30 PM, I'll send you the location." Mingyu nodded.
