People don't survive a gunshot to the head. Letting you know this now, just in case you thought Damon was coming back in this book.Let me say this again, people don't survive a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
It's almost impossible.People die everyday, and even more are born. People don't understand what it's like to lose someone until you do.
Loosing someone is like stabbing yourself repeatedly in the stomach and surviving, well the person next to you died without stabbing themselves in the stomach, repeatedly.
And sometimes, you watch that person who died for no reason, die, and it hurt more then anything in the world, but what hurts more is watching the person you love die right in front of you.
That's what happened to Spencer Reid. He watched the man he loved get shot in the back of the head well he bleed out from a stab wound to the neck.
He will never be able to get that sound out of his head. The sound of Damon's body hitting that kitchen floor, facing him. His lifeless eyes starring into his soul.
Sometimes you watch someone die, and other times you don't.
Spencer would have rather not seen Damon die.
