"Hurry up and paint those roses red!"An ace of clubs card shouts.

"Slather them quickly, as aforesaid!" Another card says in a panic.

They're painting...roses?

"Why are you painting these white roses red?" Alice asks.

The cards look at her confused.

"Why, you ask? It's quite simple. We planted the wrong color, you see." The two of clubs explain.

The ace of clubs continues. "The Queen likes her roses red. If they're white, we'll lose our heads!"

"Goodness!" Alice gasps.

"And so, we're painting the roses red." An older three of clubs says.

"By the way, where am I?" I mumble as I start to wake up and hear a knocking on the door. "I feel like I was having the strangest dream..."

"Myaaah... Hey, Yuna... I know it's the middle of the night, but I think we've got a visitor." Grim mumbles half asleep. "Maybe it's those pesky ghosts again? They just don't know when to quit."

I get out of bed and Grim jumps onto my shoulder. We walk down to the messy foyer.

"Who would be here at this hour?" I grumble.

"It's me, Ace! Just let me in, all right?" Ace calls from outside.

"Ace? It's the middle of the night!" Grim's eyes widen. "B-bwah! That collar!"

Ace has the same red and black collar that was put on Grim back at orientation. "I can't go back to Heartslabyul House. I'm joining your dorm. For good." Ace says firmly.

"Myah?! Come again?!" Grim yelps as my eyes widen.
