For the next few days, we had spent our mornings cuddling in bed together. At noon, we would succumb to our hunger and head to the dining room downstairs to grab some food.

The days became very repetitive, but also different. Every night, Monty and I would grow more comfortable with eachother as we talked until one of us passed out. And every morning, I found his arms wrapped around my body, a more intimate placement each time.

The afternoons and evenings were filled with different things each day. Some days, we would mess around in the yard outside and act like kids with gardening tools we found in his shed. Other days, we would head to town or enjoy a quiet night at home.

But adventures into his shed, led to adventures into his garage. And that's when I found out he rode crotch rockets. "Oh my god, you have a bike?"

He looked up from the tool bin he was rummaging in. "Oh, yeah. I thought I mentioned it before.."

I shook my head, even though he couldn't see it. "No. No, you haven't. That's so cool, though. Unfortunate that it's still winter."

I walked over, admiring how the red frames shined under the lights. 'Kawasaki' was written on the shoulder of the bike. "What is it?"

"A Kawasaki Ninja. They're getting pretty popular, actually. And I totally understand, they look badass." He stood up, walking over to his bike.

A helmet was hanging off the handlebar, and he picked it up, brushing the dust off the visor. "Gosh, I haven't rode this thing in so long."

"Too bad it's still winter and we can't take it for a test drive." I sighed, stuffing my hands in my pockets and hiding my chin in the neck of my jacket.

Despite being in the garage, it was still cold. Monty stared at his reflection through the visor, adjusting his weight onto one leg. "I mean.. it's not that cold."

I smiled. Bright. He turned around and noticed, talking before I could open my mouth. "Well, I would have to work on it a bit since I haven't touched it in months, so we can't tonight. But maybe tomorrow?"

A bit of my excitement died, but I was still happy he offered it. Walking over, I wrapped my arms around his waist. "You take all the time you need, hun."

I felt his body tense at my soft words, his arms resting on my back. "I'll get it done tomorrow. That's a promise."

The next morning, he had done as he promised. Monty set an alarm to wake up early so he could finish what he needed to work on before I woke up and headed outside to find him.

"Hey, girl! Perfect timing, I just finished replacing the air filter. You wanna help take it for a quick test ride?" He stood up, cleaning his hands with a rag.

His excitement made me warm. He probably also wanted to take his bike for a ride today, too. "Yes, I would love to."

"Alright. Go put on some jeans and a sweatshirt, I've got a jacket and back brace for you." Monty ordered, and I left to go change.

When I came back, he was already in his gear and another set was on his bike. He helped me put the gear on and strap the helmet on.

He forced my head up so he could reach under my chin and buckle the straps. His body was close, so I took advantage of the moment.

My hands slipped under his jacket. He flinched at first, but leaned forward once he realized what I was doing.

Once he finished strapping the helmet on, he flipped the visor down and gave me a little 'helmet kiss' before grabbing my hips and placing me on the bike.
