Just after lunch I climbed into the familiar black SUV with a smile, kissing Nathan as he smiled at me. "Hey beautiful." he greeted and I grinned. "Hello my handsome mate." I returned and he was shocked for a moment before giving a low growl and slamming his lips to mine again, kissing me deeply.

I giggled and pulled back, smiling at his hungry eyes. "I've been waiting to hear you say that for so long." he mumbled as he gave me another kiss then turned to the steering wheel. He drove us out to his home and I greeted his parents with happy hugs when we entered. "Can I guess?" I glanced at Nathan and he grinned and nodded. "Alpha and Luna?" I thought out loud and Bryan and Karen stared at me in shock before smiling widely and nodding.

"You finally told her?" Karen asked happily as she squeezed me again and I grinned. "Actually I sort of figured everything out on my own and told him that I knew." I explained and Bryan gave a loud laugh. "I knew you were a smart one. You'll be a perfect Luna one day." I blushed and thanked him and Nathan led me up the stairs to the game room.

"Ivy!" Jade cheered and ran over to hug me, the others all calling friendly greetings when we stepped through the doorway. I pursed my lips and stared at them all for a few minutes until Jade finally broke the silence. "Why are you staring at us like that?"

"I think Ryder is that sandy brown wolf that I saw with you before, they act very similar. And he's always around you, will he be your Beta or something? And I'm thinking the grey wolf is Hunter, based off of the eyes and serious vibes. Everyone else though I'm not sure as I only saw them once." I finally said and they all gaped at me while Nathan laughed loudly.

"Yes you're completely right. Lacey was the tan and grey wolf, she is one of our best warriors. Liam was the red wolf and he will be my Gamma, or third in command, and Hunter will be my head enforcer." he explained and I glanced at him curiously. "Head enforcer?"

"Yes we call our pack warriors enforcers. He will be over them all, instructing all training, delegating patrols and such. He is also my personal enforcer and will be yours as well."

"SHE FINALLY KNOWS?" Jade screeched and tackled me in another hug while cheering and I laughed. "Yea I sorta figured it out and confronted Nathan on it." I admitted and they gaped at me again. "I always told you that you were too smart for your own good, and you read too many books!" Jade laughed and I grinned. "So Hunter is your mate then?"

"Yep, or more like I'm his mate since I still don't have my wolf."

"Still? You mean you can have a wolf as a human?" I asked curiously and Nathan took my hand. "Don't worry, that's part of what I plan explain to you. Lets go to my room." I waved to everyone and then followed Nathan to his room, smiling as he shut the door behind us. "Don't try anything funny mister, I want facts." He smiled and kissed me but pulled me over to sit on the couch instead of the bed. "What do you want to know?"

"Tell me all about mates."

"Okay. Mates, or soul mates, are a wolf shifter's other half granted to us by the Moon Goddess. Our souls are created by her as one and then split into two different people, with at least one always being a wolf shifter as our wolves are the part of our souls that will recognize the other half. Once we finally shift into our wolf for the first time and fully unlock that soul connection with our wolf, we are then able to find our mate. For a wolf to find their other half it is the most incredible thing that can happen to us."

"And how exactly do you find your mate? How do you know for sure?" I ask curiously, practically hanging off every word and he smiles. "Usually it starts with catching their scent. Its unlike anything you have ever smelled before, immediately capturing you attention and drawing you in." he says and I tilt my head. "So I smell good to you?" I ask and he grins as he leans in to my neck, taking a deep breath as I shiver slightly. "Absolutely. So rich and sweet, like honey and strawberries. And you taste like it too."
