"Yeah I landed in Russia. For god's sake don't worry about me Danish" I laughed. Danish has always been an overprotective friend. "Okay Bye gotta go" I hanged up before he could lecture me any further.
I was in Russia. I was here because the love of my life was here and also my important project. Yes, I followed her here because I couldn't stay away from her. No one knew that I was dating her. Not even Danish. She asked me to keep it secret for her career and I agreed.
It's been four years since she moved away to pursue her career. We dated for a year and then she moved to Russia. She was famous model now, and I am proud of her. Four years is a long time.
I came outside and was waiting for my car to come. "Mr. Bedi" a bodyguard bowed to me. "Let's go" I said and sat inside the car. The ride to her place was slow and I was in hurry to meet her. My patience's were running out.
"Sir we are here" the driver said. I nodded and got out. She owned a penthouse in a luxurious part of city. I gifted her that on her birthday. I got inside the lift and pressed on the 14th floor. I had bought her flowers. Lilies. Her favorite. "Gosh I am so nervous" I sighed. We never had time to meet each other secretly because we both were busy with our works but she called me every day and that's what matters the most.
I reached her penthouse. I pressed on the doorbell. My heart beating so fast that it might come out. I heard the door opening. The door finally opened and there stood Vani. Vani Singh, the love of my life. "Vani" I breathed. She looked shocked as fuck and I loved her reaction. I handed her the flowers and hugged her. I breathed her scent and held her tightly. "I missed you" I kissed her. She kissed back. "Missed you too K" she pulled away.

We were sitting on the couch watching a movie and all cuddled up. I kissed her hair. I missed her touched. When was the last time I held her? Four years ago. Suddenly her phone started ringing. "I'll be right back" she stood up, took her phone and left from there, towards the balcony. She would've answered it here. I thought.
I took my phone in my hands and there a missed call from Rohit. I called him. He picked up.
"Hello little guy" he teased.
"I am not a little guy Ro. Why did you call?" I sighed.
"I know you are in Russia and I have you to do a work for me" he stated.
"What I am? Your servant?" I spat.
"No little guy but you are my friend and future brother-in-law" he chuckled.
"In your dreams. Neil would never marry a guy like you" I answered.
"Let's see. Anyways just do my work. It's not like I am going to ask you to murder someone" he laughed.
"What work do I have to do?" I asked.
"See there is this friend I have in Russia and I want you to bring my package from his house and deliver it to my dad" he answered.
"Again Ro you have a lot of people working for you and you can ask anyone to do that. Why me?" I asked getting confused.
"It's confidential. The papers are important and I don't trust anyone" he simply stated.
"Okay" I sighed. "Just give me the address" I said.
"Okay I'll message you the address K. Bye" he said and hanged up.
