Arc 3. Chapter 10. The burning sensation of Jealousy

Ayanokoji Pov:

Well, that's unfortunate for Eiichiro. He was planning on bringing out Bulbasaur since Wimpod does not have nearly the firepower needed to win this battle.

“Aw come on!” Eiichiro cried. Frustrated due to the failure of his plan.

“Sudowoodo, go!” Roxanne yelled out, breaking out of her astonishment.

“Jigg-Jigglypuff, I choose you!” Yelled Sakura.

The singing fairy entered the battle.

I put my attention back to the battle where Jigglypuff was staring down the lairon and Sudowoodo. Meanwhile, Wimpod was hiding behind Jigglypuff in fear.

“Sudowoodo, use rock throw!” Roxanne commanded, beginning the second round of the battle.

Small rocks started to surround Sudowoodo, immediately they were launched towards the Jigglypuff.

“Jigglypuff, dodge!” Sakura called out.

Jigglypuff tried to move away, however Wimpod was immediately hit with a super effective rock throw.

“Wimpod!” The poor bug and water type yelled out.

I stared at the wimpod closely. It seems wimp out has not been activited yet.

“Wimpod, counter with scald!”
Eiichiro yelled out.

Eiichiro taught scald to wimpod to give him a strong water type move to use aside from aqua jet.

Wimpod shot out water at the sudowoodo, the sudowoodo groaned in pain from the attack.

“Jigglypuff, sing!” Sakura said.

I quickly plugged my ears with my fingers along side the gym leaders and Sakura.

“Everyone plug your ears with your fingers!”

“Wait what are you all doi-”

“Jigglypuff~ Jigglypuff~”

As Jigglypuff sang, Ichinose, Hasebe, Horikita, Kushida and everyone else in stand fell to the floor. Asleep.

Thankfully, due to my previous knowledge I managed to plug my ears in time.

Meanwhile, the gym leaders and Sakura stayed awake by plugging their ears.

It seems Eiichiro, upon hearing the call plugged his ears as well. Just saving him from falling asleep.

That could not be said the same for their pokemons however as Lairon, Sudowoodo and Wimpod laid down on the field. Asleep.

“Lairon, Sudowoodo, come back.”
Said Roxanne as she recalled her pokemons.

Brock quickly came up to me.

“Hey, let's get these guys on the benches to sleep in.”
Said Brock.

“Uh…Sure.”

“You take the girls, I take the boys.”

“Wait a minute, why am I-”

“I am an adult. Touching underage girls will look weird. Even I have standards.”

“...Fine.”

I picked up Horikita and Hasebe at once and put them in the bench. After that, I quickly went back and picked up Yamamura and Morishita, but…

When someone is asleep due to sing, it's easy to know by a look. They will be in a small sleep. They could probably wake up with a slight nudge.

However, Morishita was in a deep sleep. Which implies she didn't fall asleep due to the sing, but on her own…
