“Well then…It's time for the gym challenge to begin!”
Brock yelled.
The gym challenge, huh?
Suddenly, smoke appeared and two figures walked through the smoke.
“Hehe. He is not the only gym leader.”
Said the Feminine figure.
“Infact, we join him as the gym leaders of the rock gym at ANHS!”
Said the male figure.
“Hah!”
They said as they posed and the smoke faded away.
“Okay this is embarrassing, I am not doing it!”
The woman yelled with a blush on her face.
“Heh. I guess so.”
The man replied with a grin.
“I am Roark!”
“I- I am Roxxane…”
They introduced themselves. That certainly was an interesting performance.
“Yeah. Meet those two. Since I can't fight all of you, they will be the opponent of some of you.”
Brock explained.
“Hold on, that will only be enough for half of us…” Akito remarked.
Ayanokoji/Ichinose
Hasebe/Akito
Eiichiro/Sakura
Sotomura/Hondou
Horikita/Kushida
Morishita/Yamamura.
Yeah, he is correct. If they each fight one group, then that will only be enough to fight half of us.
“Yeah. About that. Half of you guys will have to battle tomorrow. We can either use a lottery for that, or you all can decide it yourselves.”
“Me and Ichinose/Yamamura are out.”
Morishita and I said at the same time. Causing us to both look at each other. Huh. We are pretty similar.
“Eh?”
Ichinose and Yamamura looked a little surprised by our declaration.
“Well, I guess that leaves four teams. So we need to get one out…”
“Hey, we will take that. We probably need more preparation time than everyone else.”
Hondou raised his hand. He is surprisingly aware of his own flaws.
“Well then, that's it. Can we get to the battles now?”
Suzune asked Brock, impatiently.
“Looks like you are ready. Why don't you two come first then? I am ready to take you two on.”
Brock replied with a smile.
“Very well. Let's go. Kushida-san.”
Suzune told Kushida.
“Huh? Alright.”
Kushida answered and followed.
Brock sat down on his throne, as Suzune and Kushida went to their podiums.
“Now, the gym battle for the first badge is starting between the duo of Horikita Suzune and Kushida Kikyo against the gym leader, brock.”
“This will be a 6 on 6, with each of the challengers using 3 pokemons. Now…The battle begins!”
