                        Piya's POV

I was thinking thinking those words which I just said to Siddharth Shergill. Suddenly I got distracted by Papa's voice.

"Attention everyone here I have a great news for you all. I'm very happy to share you all that my daughter Piya is going to marry in Shergill's house very soon." Papa announced.

What the hell is going on. Why did papa announced this without my permission. I turn towards mummy and she hugged me and whispered "don't spoil the moment" near to my ears as only I can listen it.

Here are alot of people so I decide to keep quiet and talk to mumma papa after this party. As everybody seems to be happy except me.

Piyush came towards me and ask me "are you fine di? Are you happy? If not just tell me." As I know if I say no then he will definitely spoil this party and mummy Papa's mood. But as soon as I say something he hold my hand and take me towards mummy papa where shergills family also was present.

"We need to talk to you papa" piyush said. "After the party" papa replied. "You know today's generation doesn't have patience " mumma said while laughing to Mrs Nandini Shergill. "Nothing is more important than my Didi's choice" piyush said in loud voice. "Piyush stop everyone is listening". I said in scary voice. "Ohh come on di, it's your life changing decision and they just didn't think to ask you once. So unbelievable" piyush said in the harsh way but only our and Shergill's family could able to listen it.

"What's wrong with you?" Papa asked piyush. "Let's go and talk in room" piyush replied. Tears goes down by my eyes as I saw Papa's angry face.

(Piyush mumma papa and I went to room)

"Don't you have manners how to behave infront of guest" papa raised his voice on piyush. "And don't you think you have to ask Di's permission before fixing her marriage" piyush replied. I'm couldn't control myself and I cried aloud. "Please stop crying didi, noone can force you I'm with you always" piyush says while hugging me.
"Why are you crying I don't get it. Shergill family is richest family in India. You are very lucky that they choose you." Papa replied. "Why?" I asked "why are you doing this?"
"I know the reason" piyush said "piyush just stop" papa trying to stop piyush but piyush ignore him and said "The Siddharth Shergill is blackmailing papa. He wants to marry you. I don't know why but he really wants to marry you. May be he wants to take revenge in this way. I saw him doing argument with papa in office."
I turn to papa "is this true?" I asked
"Yes" papa replied "as he got some proof against me and he is very powerful now as he can destroy my business and political career also."
"So?" I asked "you get ready to give your daughter them to save your business and political career?"

Mummy was silent in whole conversation but now she finally break her silence "I want to talk Piya alone, you both just leave the room"

(Papa and piyush leaves the room)

I hugged mummy and crried in loud voice. "Mumma I really don't want" mummy stops me and make me sit on bed and said "you know beta, me and Nandini are best friends. Before your bua's marriage we were very happy. You was 4 years old then and Siddharth was 9 years old. We decided your marriage with him at that time. It was my wish from last 18 years. But I'm not forcing you. But I think you will understand mummy's words. Only you can save these two family."
"Am I settlement for you?" I replied. "No beta, you aren't. But nandini will take care of you more than me. She loves you as I do. And as she said to Siddharth that she want you as her daughter in law he agreed immediately as he loves his mom. And can do anything for his loved once." Mummy said.
"So what? As he loves his mom he can blackmail my papa? Who give him that rights?" I replied.
"He will love you the way he loves his mom. The way your dad loves me" mummy said.
