Raya's heart raced as she stormed towards Michael, her eyes narrowing with determination. She had just received an anonymous tip about a plan involving James, and she needed answers.
"Michael, we need to talk," Raya said, her voice sharp.
Michael glanced around, noting the intense look on Raya's face. Without a word, he grabbed her arm and led her through the bustling school grounds. They reached the football field, where the stands loomed above them. He pulled her under the bleachers, a place where they were shielded from prying eyes and ears.
"Alright, what's going on?" Michael asked, his tone defensive but curious.
Raya folded her arms, her eyes fixed on him. "I got an anonymous update about a plan involving James. What's he up to?"
Michael's face softened, and he sighed. "Okay, fine. I'll tell you. We were planning a huge prank on the whole school. It was supposed to be epic—a flash mob during lunch, with everyone in on it, and a fake announcement over the PA system. We wanted to make everyone believe that the school was going to be closed for an entire week."
Raya raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued despite herself. "That sounds... ambitious. So, what changed?"
Michael's expression darkened. "I found out what James was actually planning. He's gone behind our backs, and it's not just a prank anymore. He's using this as a way to settle some personal scores. It's not just about the prank anymore—it's become something much worse."
Raya's eyes widened. "Worse? How?"
Michael looked at her, his face etched with concern. "He's been spreading rumors and trying to manipulate people. But that's not all. I found out he's been targeting you specifically, Raya. I heard about what happened with you—how he tried to frame you and how you ended up getting hurt because of it."
