Once, Sharpay found out that the callbacks were posted in the fall, she got so excited she couldn't keep her head on. "Callbacks!"
***
"Ahh!" She screamed.
Sharpay fans herself as she and her brother stare at the callback sheet.
"Callback roles for Arnold and Minnie next Thursday, 3:30 PM. Ryan and Sharpay Evans. Raya Souix and James Ryland. Gabriella Montez and Troy Bolton." Ryan said reading from the callback sheet.
"Is this some kind of joke? They didn't even audition." Sharpay said.
"Maybe we're being punked." Ryan shrugged.
"What?" Shapray asked confused.
"Maybe we're being filmed right now. Maybe we'll get to meet Aston." Ryan said looking around for the camera.
"Oh, shut up Ryan!" Sharpay snapped.
Zeke, Chad, and Jason walk up beside them and laugh. "What's wrong?"
The basketball players read the list. Chad's face fell and the boys looked confused. "What?" He couldn't believe they would do that behind his own back. Raya? The one person who couldn't lie to him. Something's wrong.
Chad glances at Ryan and Sharpay in disbelief before walking away. Sharpay storms off and the other step up for a closer look.
Chad was beyond frustrated, he was hurt and betrayed. "Why didn't you tell me?" Raya slammed her locker, looking confused.
"What?"
"Don't lie," Chad said holding up the paper.
Before she could say anything, he grabbed her hand. "Come on." He growled.
