The Unexpected Fate

Chapter 3 - New Housemates

So Jimin and Hoseok had moved into our house and suddenly we have housemates which I am really not so used to it. It is like having strangers staying with you in the same house. Ahhh~ Thinking about it makes me feels weird though but in order to clear off our remaining house debts, I have no choice but to try to get used to it. We didn't really talk to each other during the first few weeks after they have moved in until this morning while I was in the kitchen trying to get something from the cabinet above and I lost my balance and fell off the ladder.

But while I was falling off the ladder, I felt someone holding me from behind. I turned around and saw Hoseok. "Are you alright?" Hoseok asked concernedly. "Yeah. I am. Thank you so much for just now." I thanked Hoseok while looking down. I can't deny that Hoseok has all the distinct features on his face and his sunshine smile is what had melted my heart
away but why am I blushing out of a sudden?

Hoseok: "What are you taking from the cabinet? I can help you."

Me: "Oh! Erm. I was trying to get this mixing bowl but I can't seem to reach it."

Hoseok: "That was so dangerous earlier. Let me get the mixing bowl for you
instead." And Hoseok helped me to get the mixing bowl from the top kitchen cabinet. "What are going to do with the mixing bowl? This mixing bowl is quite a big one though."

Me: "Oh! I am going to bake some cookies. Yoongi oppa loves the cookies that I made. And it has been some time since I had last made them so I am going to make them today." I giggled.

Hoseok: "Ahh~ I see! Do you need help with anything? I am free today and don't have much to do too." Hoseok offered his help.

Me: "Oh are you sure about this? Will I be bothering you or something?" I asked Hoseok.

Hoseok: "Of course, not at all! Let me help you then since I have nothing to do." Hoseok smiled and took the mixing bowl from me.

And so the both of us were in the kitchen the whole morning making the cookie dough and baking the cookies. We had lots of laughters and I guess this is the first time that we had talked more and got to know each other better. "So now we have to send the cookies dough into the oven and bake them for 15 minutes." I told Hoseok excitedly. The both of us were cleaning up the kitchen when Yoongi oppa got back home.

Yoongi: "Woohoo!~ I am smelling something nice! Are you baking cookies today Yongmin?"

Me: "Yeah Yoongi oppa! I am baking cookies today. I know that you have been missing the cookies that I made. Hehe~"

Jimin: "Woah! The cookies smell so nice!! And I am hungry now." Jimin laughed.

The next moment I saw Jimin standing beside Yoongi at the door. Jimin was wearing a white tank top with black skinny jeans. Woah! I must say that Jimin does look so handsome in those. I gasped softly while admiring his looks.

Me: "You both came home together?" I asked curiously.

Jimin: "I met Yoongi hyung outside the door when he was about to open it." Jimin replied.

Yoongi: "Well, now who's hungry? I am gonna make some Japchae!" Yoongi oppa asked excitedly.

"Me!!!" The three of us said in unison and Yoongi oppa laughed. His gummy smile is always the cutest and I hope that he can find himself a girlfriend soon so he doesn't have to only nag on me. I laughed inside my heart. So Yoongi oppa made us some Japchae and we were all eating and chatting away through the lunch. It has been quite some time since we have such
atmosphere in the house and I am really missing it.
