Chapter 24 - An Interview Opportunity

After getting my final exam results, I have decided to send in my application to the Park's Agency for the Recruitment Officer position. I was crossing my fingers while sending in my application, hoping that I could get this position. I shut down my laptop after that to try to relax myself. Looking for a Full- Time job is not as easy as looking for a Part-Time job so I am really hopingfor the best. While waiting for the application results, I am working Part-Time in a cafe usually for morning shifts but sometimes I do help to cover afternoon shifts as well.

So today is Friday and just nice I didn't have to cover any shifts so I had a day off today. I was away from my bedroom when suddenly Hoseok called out to me "My jagiya~ Your phone is ringing and it seems to be from a private number." "Okay! I am coming!" I ran back to my room as I replied to Hoseok. I quickly picked up the phone call as soon as I am back to my room.

Me: "Hello! This is Connie speaking. Who's that on the line?"

The caller: "Hi! I am calling from Park's Agency. This is with regards to your job application for the role of Recruitment Officer and we are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted and we would like to invite you to come over to the office for an interview on next Monday at 11am. Please do bring a copy of your resume and do come dressed in formal as well. I will besending you an email shortly after this phone call with our office's address. So see you then!"

Me: "Sure thing! I will definitely be there! Thank you so much for the interview opportunity!"

I was feeling over the moon that I was jumping up and down. Hoseok saw what happened and he was giggling.

Hoseok: "That's great my jagiya! I am so excited for you."

Me: "Yay!! I am gonna tell Yoongi oppa about the interview too!"

So as I was about to run out from my room and tell Yoongi oppa about the interview, I realized I didn't have any formal clothes. So I ran back to my room and tell Hoseok that I would like him to accompany me to the mall later for some shopping and Hoseok nodded his head almost immediately. Hoseok is the next sweetest guy besides my Yoongi oppa! I thought and smiled to myself.

So we went to the mall to get some decent formal clothes. I bought this suit set for the upcoming interview on next Monday. I am feeling so damn nervous and excited about it. I have been looking up into the agency's history, organisation chart, etc so as to prepare myself for the interview. I constantly keep telling myself that I have to do my best in the interview and to give them a good impression too.

So the day of the interview is here. I woke up early in the morning to prepare myself and to make sure that I am not late for the interview. Hoseok woke up early too to make breakfast for me and also to send me to the place for the interview. The office building look so high on the outside and suddenly I felt the sense of nervousness again just by looking at the building. I requestedHoseok to help look at me from head to toe to make sure that I am in tip top shape before entering the building and off I walked towards the office building direction.
