After what seemed like endless hours of torture, Delilah, Niall and I sat on the steps of the institution. Delilah and I mindlessly chattered about which movies we should watch while Niall played a game on his phone. We were in the middle of discussing horror films to watch when Dean loudly burst through the front doors,
"Hey!" he said, pointing at me,
"Hey." I responded, standing up as he looked at me sternly, "Is everything alright?"
"Really? Cut the crap, it's pathetic." he hissed, causing Delilah and Niall to snap their necks towards Dean.
"What 'crap'?" I asked, getting scared at the looks he was giving me,
"Stop fucking playing Harry and me, for that matter. I don't want you to put Harry in the middle of your slutty game."
"Hey!" Delilah stood up and Niall was right behind her, "You aren't to speak to her like that, asshole."
"If she didn't meddle with my best friend I wouldn't have to."
"I suggest you leave before things get ugly." Niall took a step closer to Dean and as they got closer, you could see they were almost the same height, but Dean was a little bit taller.
"Oh this is just perfect. I hope you two are happy. But stay the fuck away from Harry, or so help me, I will make you regret it."
"Get out of here." Niall pushed Dean away from me, and Dean stumbled back before turning away and leaving.
I would curse him out and tell him exactly how I feel, but I was stunned to silence as I felt the truth in his words.
I felt it in my heart; the sting of his words and Delilah hugging me was numbed by my raging thoughts.
"That asshole doesn't deserve you to defend him." Niall said as I desperately wanted the change the subject,
"Can we just never bring that up again?" I asked after they started giving me looks of pity, "So Paranormal Activity or Sinister?" I smiled while wiping away any tears that might have accidentally fallen.
I was glad when Liam along with Louis and Zayn exited the building, "We're set to come back Monday but Mr. Armstrong says he needs to start seeing some results fast or else he's going to just find someone else." I was glad to not have to think about Dean's cruel words any longer.

Once we all arrived at Delilah's house at seven o'clock, we navigated ourselves to the movie room that was towards the back of Delilah's house. We all frequently hung out at Dee's, so we all knew our way around so Louis and Zayn went to go change out of their uniforms while Niall made the popcorn and Delilah, Liam and I went to the movie room to set up the movie.
"Violet. I know you'll probably just defend Dean, but-" Liam started, until Delilah snapped at him,
"We aren't talking about him right now." her glare was enough to shut him up,
"I actually wanted to discuss some ideas with you." I spoke, looking up from my laptop as i had been starting research on the institute, "Whoever is our monster clearly knows we're there. So I was thinking we could sneak into the institute at night and maybe camp out."
Liam smiled at me, "That's a great plan, I can talk it over with Mr. Armstrong so we can get a key."
"No! Don't tell him. If he knows, he will alert the faculty and the victims say it's an adult voice."
"Are you trying to tell me you think a faculty member is behind of all of this?"
"No, not exactly, but just to be safe." I really didn't know what to think anymore, but at least it was something to think,
