"... and someday, I could ascend to the position of Queen Felice's chief mechanic!" he proclaimed, his enthusiasm unbridled.
"Fantastic, truly amazing," I replied with a tinge of sarcasm, met only by another of his infectious smiles.
Lucio extended an invitation to his dwelling—a peculiar amalgamation of hut and robotics seamlessly entwined. Upon stepping inside, the ostensibly ordinary abode underwent a profound metamorphosis. Bazooka-styled mechanisms emerged from the floor, eliciting an instinctive leap backward and a flinch on my part. Lucio promptly positioned himself as a protective barrier in front of me.
"Show some respect; I've got a guest here!" he exclaimed.
The bazookas powered down, making way for an expansive screen and a microphone. In the blink of an eye, a cinematic message materialized on the display.
"Please state your name."
Perplexed, I turned to Lucio for guidance, and with an encouraging gesture, he signaled me to proceed. Reluctantly, I approached the microphone, my bewilderment palpable.
"Cobalt..."
In response, the contraption transmitted two succinct words:
