The air in Felice's Palace was thick with an unsettling tension as Lucio and Lamonte made their way toward the throne room. The grandiosity of the palace was disorienting, but the crew pressed on, guided by the determination to uncover the truth behind Queen Felice's façade.

As they navigated the ornate corridors, a soft croak caught their attention. Hopper, my petshifter frog, perched on Lamonte's shoulder, seemed to sense a peculiar presence nearby. Following the sound, they stumbled upon a room filled with cages. Inside were petshifters—colorful, mystical creatures capable of shifting between various forms.

Hopper, with a knowing gleam in his eyes, hopped down from Lamonte's shoulder and nudged a particular cage. The creature inside, a small and furry feline with shimmering blue fur and sparkling eyes, regarded them with curiosity.

"What's this little guy's story?" Lucio asked, peering into the cage.

Lamonte scratched his head, contemplating the decision. Hopper, ever enthusiastic, croaked as if urging them to choose a companion.

"How about this one?" Lucio suggested, pointing to a winged creature that resembled a blend of a bird and a fox, its feathers glistening with an iridescent glow.

Lamonte chuckled. "I was thinking more along the lines of the feline. What do you say, Hopper?"

The frog croaked approvingly, and with a shared glance, Lucio and Lamonte decided to adopt the sparkling blue-furred feline. As they opened the cage, the creature gracefully stepped out, purring contentedly.

Lucio couldn't help but smile. "What should we name this little adventurer?"

Lamonte pondered for a moment before suggesting, "How about Stardust? Seems fitting for a creature from Felice's Palace."

Stardust purred in agreement, seemingly pleased with the chosen name. The trio continued their journey toward the throne room, now accompanied by the newfound companion, adding a touch of whimsy to the otherwise serious quest.

As they ventured deeper into the heart of the palace, Stardust weaved around their feet, a silent reminder that even in uncertainty, there was room for companionship and the unexpected joys that the cosmic journey brought.
