Returning to Chiara, we decided to give Winona a brief tour of Lucio's house. Although I wasn't particularly thrilled about it, my focus was on finding the second elemental star. Rather than being rude, I chose to ignore the amorous scene between them and ventured into the airship to explore. To my surprise, beyond the juice boxes, I discovered a laboratory where Lucio meticulously documented his research on various dimensions—Codexis and detailed illustrations adorned the space.
"Roughbay... Cielo... Ironvale...?" I read aloud, puzzled by the unfamiliar names. Before I could delve into an answer, my attention shifted when I noticed a frog sitting on the windowpane, or perhaps it was a toad. Covered in green mucus with light green patches, it stared at me with piercing yellow eyes.
"Hello, little friend," I greeted cautiously, "what might your name be?"
The frog grabbed a pen and paper, then began to write:
H-O-P-P-E-R
Amazed that the frog could write, I went along with it. "Is Hopper your name?" I asked, and he nodded.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approached from downstairs. In a hurry, I instructed Hopper to hide, and in a blink, he transformed into a frog hat on my head. The surprise sent me crashing to the ground, but thankfully, it was just Winnona and Lucio.
"There you are, Cobalt," Lucio began, but his eyes fixated on my peculiar headgear. A sense of recognition crossed his face. "A Petshifter? But how?"
After explaining that Hopper found me, Winnona and Lucio expressed their desire to meet him. Hopper, now revealed, charmed my friends with his unique abilities.
"Maybe the queen sent Hopper to guide you," Lucio suggested, pulling out a guidebook with the title in bold:
