"Are you freaking kidding me?!" Sienna yelled from the inside of her 1992 Red Corvette while angrily staring down the girl who had just cut her off and stolen her parking spot. She had spotted the parking spot from a lane away only to have it stolen right before her eyes. Sienna got out of her car, slamming the door and hastily walked toward the green truck. The girl inside seemed oblivious to what was going on. She tapped on the window to get her attention and then motioned for her to roll it down.

"Excuse me! You stole my parking spot." Sienna exclaimed full to the cool, calm and collected girl sitting in her truck. It was almost as if the girl found the whole thing amusing.

"Sorry toots, I got here first and now it is mine." The girl replied while applying lipstick to her already red lips.

"Toots, TOOTS?! What are you? A 1940's gangster? I noticed the spot from way over on the other side of the lot and here you come in this piece of shit truck and steal it." Sienna responded, tapping her foot to make a point.

The girl shrugged and smiled while rolling her window back up and pointing at her ears letting her know she could no longer hear her.

Sienna realized she couldn't waste any more time with this petty argument. She had been assigned a specific time block to move into her dorm and she had already started to cut into it. She rolled her eyes and got back in her car. The idea of circling the parking lot one more time made Sienna's head want to explode. Grabbing only her back pack she made her way toward the beige colored building that she had toured once before getting into the school and another time during Freshman orientation.

Crystal River University was an average sized college with a great digital art program. Sienna wanted nothing more than to be able to share her art with others and this school was one of the best to help her grow and reach her goal of being a well known artist. As she climbed the steps and made her way toward the hall where she was meeting her RA she spotted the girl who stole her parking spot. She couldn't hide her disdain and couldn't believe they would probably be in the same hallway.

Armed with just her room number Sienna realized she still had to check in. She approached the table where her RA was sitting.

"What's your name and where are you from?" Said the RA with an uninterested look on her face.

"Sienna Phoenix and Arkansas." Sienna replied, smiling politely if at all possible.

"Sienna, you're a little late, you're about to miss your move-in window. I suggest you hurry up and get your things in the room. There was a last minute room change, you're now on the top floor with Paige Kinsley in room 305. Here's your key, I suggest you make a spare. You can use your ID badge to get around the building." The girl said, finally flashing her a welcoming smile.

"Thanks, Greta." Sienna said while reading the RA's name tag. With a name like Greta, no wonder she looks cranky. Sienna thought to herself. She looked over at the elevators where students stood in line for their turn to ride up to their dorms. Great. Climbing up three flights of stairs carrying boxes was not in her agenda. She decided she'd get a lay of the land and check to see if her roommate had already made it into their room. She made it to the door, crossed her fingers and took a deep breath. She stepped in the room and out of the closet walked out the same blonde haired girl who had stolen her parking spot.

"Son of a bitch! We're roommates. This isn't possible, there's no way I'm sharing rooms with you. No way, no how." Sienna said without thinking.

"Oh, hi to you, too! Aren't you that girl that was yammering about a parking spot earlier? You should really try and relax. These tantrums you throw can't be good for your health." Paige responded with a smirk.

Sienna wanted nothing more than to smack that smirk off her face. Who did this girl think she was anyway?

"Look, we're stuck with each other, might as well get to know each other. I'm Paige Kinsley, what's your name?" Paige said, extending her hand to greet Sienna.

"Sienna Phoenix." Sienna replied, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't mean to cut our little introduction short but I need to call my boyfriend and let him know I made it safely. I've got to move my stuff in and I've got a bunch of things to do so I'll catch you later." Sienna said, dropping off her backpack on the bed before heading downstairs to grab the rest of her stuff. Going up and down three flights of stairs was going to be hell. If it wasn't because she loved reading she'd be really pissed at herself for packing all the books she packed.

After a few trips up and down the stairs and feeling her legs burn from the exercise Sienna finally settled down in the dorm. She had finally personalized her half of the room and even brought the succulent her boyfriend Andrew had recently given her.

"Geez, how much crap did you bring?" Paige asked, her eyebrow was raised and her tone was uninterested.

"First of all it's not crap and second I don't know. I guess everything I figured I'd need. Your area looks a little bare and lacks personality if I were to guess I'd say you don't even want to be here." Sienna said, studying the girl's empty side of the room.

"Ding, ding, ding! You got it. No, I don't want to be here but I made a deal with my parents. Go to college, settle down and they will start paying my bills again." Paige replied, rolling her eyes.

"Wait. So your parents had to give you an ultimatum to get you to come to school?" Sienna asked, feeling intrigued by the girl who was now studying her reflection in the mirror she had just lugged up three flights of stairs.

"Something like that. I just have to make it through a few semesters and it will all blow over. I'm sure once they see I'm putting in some sort of effort they'll start helping me again. Anyway, yes, my area may lack personality but I don't" Paige said, giving Sienna a wink. "Why are you here?" She asked.

"This is one of the best digital art schools in the country. Why would I not be here? Arkansas didn't come close to offering any good schools. Besides, who wouldn't want to be near the beach?." Sienna smiled.

"The beach is overrated." Paige responded, running her hand through her hair and still looking at herself in the mirror.

If the last few hours were any indication of how the semester was going to go it was looking like it was going to be a very long semester.
