A mutated rat with a massive brain comes out of a bush when an eagle swoops down to try and eat it but the mutated rat uses telekinesis to slam the eagle around and throw it away. The mutated rat then goes through a hole and into the mess hall where the contestants are currently eating breakfast. Sam tries to eat the gruel Chef served but spits it out in disgust.
Sam: "Now I know why gruel rhymes with cruel."
Sam looks up to see that he spit his gruel all over Scott's face who is not happy with him.
Sam: "Oh, sorry, man."
Scott doesn't respond verbally and instead chooses to throw his entire bowl of gruel at Sam's head.
[CONFESSIONAL START]
Scott is seen in the confessional sharpening a stick with the shark tooth he found last episode.
Scott: [Laughs] "Wimp. I grew up on a dirt farm. I can always chomp on a clod if I get the munchies."
Scott pulls a clod out and takes a bite from it. This, however, causes all of Scott's teeth to crack and shatter.
[CONFESSIONAL END]
Anne Maria was using her spray all over herself right next to Cameron which was causing him to start coughing.
Anne Maria: "Sorry, shortstuff. On the upside, now your lungs are waterproof!"
Cameron: "Wow... Thanks."
Jo and Brick were having a competition to see who could finish their gruel faster. Brick was going so fast, he accidentally managed to swallow his spoon and started choking on it.
Jo: "Easy, jarhead, don't wet your panties."
She punched Brick in the back of his throat. This dislodges the spoon and sends it flying straight to Mike, who is talking to Zoey.
Mike: "I like waffles too! Ow!"
Mike gasps and starts doing a weird old man impression.
Chester: "Darn kids! Back in my day, we ate with our hands like decent folk!"
Zoey: [Laughs] "You're hilarious! Unless you're not joking, but you are, right?"
[CONFESSIONAL START]
Mike: "Okay, okay. I admit it. I... I have multiple personality disorder. I try to control them but they never listen to me."
