2. Paint The Props

"Good morning." My mom said as she woke me up for school.

"Five more minutes, please." I begged her.

"Fine, but pop tarts on the counter for you." She said and I rolled back over.

"Thank you." I mutter as I shove my head back under my blanket, getting warmer and feeling amazing. I close my eyes and drift off into blissful sleep, until my mom wakes me up.

"Kylie you seriously need to wake up, it's been five minutes." She said.

"Fine." I groaned, getting out of bed and making my way towards the kitchen, getting my pop tarts and going back into my room.

I ate my strawberry pop tart as I got dressed and brushed my hair, after I was done eating I took a drink of water, then brushed my teeth. I sprayed perfume on me and grabbed my backpack and walked out of the front door.

I waited at the bus stop until Kyle showed up.

"How did you sleep?" He asked as he stood next to me.

"Good, what about you?" I asked.

"Good." He said.

"I watched your videos." I said and smiled at him, his smirk became a real smile and he looked excited.

"Really?!" He asked emphatically.

"Yes, I love your videos." I admitted and he hugged me.

"Oh my gosh you're so nice." He said.

"Um, yeah." I said, confused.

"Did you watch Bryan and Johnnie's videos too?" He asked and I said yes. They're honestly really funny, I told Kyle which video was my favorite. It's 'Haircut Gone Wrong." It is seriously one of the funniest videos, along with 'Scene Band Impressions' I laughed so hard at the faces Bryan was making.

"Maybe all four of us can make a video together sometime." He said and I nodded, if someone heard this conversation without knowing we were talking about YouTube, they would get the wrong idea.

"That would be awesome." I said.

"Yeah and maybe you can meet all of the My Digital Escape members too, they're really nice. They're coming over because of Warped Tour that is happening in the summer." He said and I smiled.

"It would be awesome to meet them." I said and smiled a genuine smile. I haven't smiled a real smile in a long time and now that Kyle moved next door, he's making me happy, well, happier.

The bus arrived and we sat together again, we sat in silence most of the way there, since we talked mostly about our night at the bus stop.

"I'll ask Bryan if we can make videos with you and if you can meet the MDE members." He said and I smiled.

"Thanks." I said and I walked to my locker, surprisingly Kyle's locker is right next to mine.

We both got our stuff out and we went to our classes. We had fifth and seventh period together so we obviously talked to one another in those classes, along with lunch. Fifth and seventh period classes where electives, which meant you can have two or more different grades in the same class.

Seventh period we have drama class so it's really fun. We don't do much though, we just sit in the back and help the prop designer people paint the props for the play.

After seventh period we went to our lockers and then Sierra, the popular girl, came by and started talking to me. I don't even know why she does this.

"So I heard you guys are making videos." She said and wrapped her arm around Kyle, making me mad.

"Not those kind of videos you nasty bitch." He said and pushed her away from him.

"Well, what kind where you talking about?" She asked with her hand on her hip and I answered.

"It's really none of your business, it doesn't involve you." I said shyly.

"What did you say?" She asked.

"She said it's none of your business." Kyle said and he wrapped his arm around me and we walked out of the school. Leaving Sierra standing in the hallway, dumb-founded.

We walked towards our bus and I noticed he still has his arm wrapped around me.

"Uh, Kyle." I said.

"Yes." He said looking down at me, because of the height difference.

"You still have your arm wrapped around me." I said and he removed his arm.

"Oh, right, sorry." He said.

"It's alright." I said and smiled up at him.

We both got on the bus and sat next to one another again. We didn't talk so I grabbed my headphones out of my backpack and plugged them into my phone, listening to 'Missing You' by All Time Low.

We arrived at our bus stop and we both got off the bus, I unplugged my headphones from my phone and put them back into my book bag.

"What were you listening to?" He asked.

"An All Time Low song." I said, which caused him to say "oh."

We arrived at his house first and he told me he would ask Bryan and Johnnie about the video making. I nodded my head and I walked into my house.

"How was your day at school sweetie?" My mom asked me when I walked into the door.

"Good." I said and went into my room to do my homework.
