7. Let's Get You Home

Warped Tour is almost here, which means school is almost out and some of the MDE members will be arriving at Bryan, Johnnie and Kyle's place.

"Kylie, have you even started your homework yet?" My mom asked me.

"I didn't have homework." I said.

"Oh." She said as she goes back into the living room.

I sat on my bed and played silly games on my phone and listened to 'The Edge Of Tonight' by All Time Low. It's a really good song, it's a love song about those moments when you're miles away from home and the only thing getting you through is the knowledge you're going home to someone that cares about you.

I listened to it over and over for hours, it's on replay. I listened to it all day until Kyle came over and walked into my room, I took my headphones out and looked at him in a confused manor.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as he shut the door.

"I miss you and can't stop thinking about you and that kiss." He said as he looked deep into my eyes as he moved closer to me.

"I know I shouldn't have done that, but I was really excited and happy and I'm sorry. I know I need to take things slow with you but I just keep kissing you all the time." I said as he sat next to me.

"Don't force yourself to go slow if you don't want that." He said.

"Kyle, I do want to go slow, I just can't help myself when I'm around you." I said as I looked into his hunger filled eyes.

"I understand the feeling." He said as he laid on the bed, me still sitting and looking down upon him. I couldn't help but let my eyes wonder over his skinny body.

"Stop staring at me dawg." He said and I started blushing.

"Sorry." Was the only the I could say at the moment.

"Don't be, I was just messing around. I like when you stare at me." He said as he lifted me up and put me on him, me now straddling him.

"Kyle, I don't think I should really be in this position." I said, feeling unnerving, but at the same time I wanted to be there and I wanted to not move, but everything was saying that I couldn't be like that. Especially when my parents are home.

I got off of him and sat next to him and held his hand.

"I do want to be your girlfriend." I said then continued, "but I want you to be sure that I'm the one you want and If you're sure then I want to go slow for awhile."

"I respect that about you, but Kylie you're the only one I want. You're the only one I want to see when I wake up and you're the only one I want to be with in a romantic and friendship way." He said and I just hugged him.

"If we're going to be together then you can't kiss me for a whole week and a half." I said, trying to prove my point on how slow I want to go.

"I respect that." He said as he held my hands.

"Let's get you home." I said as we walked out of the front door and went over to his house.
