I know, y'all probably think I married Adam somewhere in here and didn't tell you.

No.

I was just blessed enough to have the same last name as Adam. Cray cray I know.

"You married this thing?" AnnMarie was shocked.

"No, he didn't." I said firmly.

"Then-" AnnMarie was cut short by Adam.

"We have the same last name. And she's not a a thing. She's my girlfriend, the love of my life, the one I want to be with. She's perfect, AnnMarie. Alex, you're perfect," He looked at me meaningfully,"I love you."

"I love you too, Adam." I hugged him tight.

"Ugh. Adam just date me already!" AnnMarie was impatient.

"He's dating me. So bye." I walked away pulling Adam with me.

But out if the corner of my eye I spotted AnnMarie giving Adam the "call me" sign.

"Who do you think you are?" I ran over to her and smacked her hard across the face.

"Ow! Are you going to let this scum treat me like this?" She asked Adam.

"He is. Now I said BYE." We walked away leaving AnnMarie standing there by herself.

"You should go say hi." I said to Adam as we finished our meals.

"Who?"

"That fan, she's staring at you," I jerked my head towards the eager girl, she couldn't have been more than 10, "Right there."

He walked over,"Hi there!"

"Hi Adam!!" She said excitedly.

"Want me to sign some stuff?" Adam asked.

"Yes! My phone case and my shirt please!!"

He signed then said goodbye, and walked over to me.

"Ready my dear?" He held out his arm.

I took it and nodded, smiling at him.

We arrived at Walmart, I was forcing Adam to buy groceries.

"Ugh, I hate this." Adam complained.

"Hate what?" I asked.

"Shopping for groceries." He stated firmly.

"Surely it's not the bad?" I said.

"No it is." He grabbed a cart, and rolled it then put his feet up on the bottom bar, riding it like a kid.

I laughed and pushed him around the whole store grabbing different cans and jars.

"Hey, wait, stop." Adam said.

I stopped out of breath, "Why?"

"Look over there." Adam pointed to where a bunch of kids were smashing CD's on the ground.

"What're they doing?!" I was shocked.

"I don't know, but I intend to find out." He began to walk towards the thugs.

"Adam-wait!" I tried to stop him.

He brushed me off and walked right up to them.

"What're you doing?" Adam asked.

"Why do you care, old man?" The kids were only about 8 years younger than Adam was.

"Because this is music, it's talent, and you're disrespecting it." He started putting the CD's back on the shelves.

"Why don't we take this outside, dude. There's kids around." One of the older boys said to Adam, gripping Adam's hood, and pulling him outside, the kid being clearly stronger.

"Adam!" I yelled.

"Alex! Help me!" He cried, his feet sliding across the floor.
