Chapter ten

-the next day-
-August 2024-
-zuriels pov-

I woke up and realised I had fallen asleep in Tyreese bed, "Ty" I said shaking him causing him to wake up. "Hey are you okay?" He asked and I nodded, "yes sorry, I just didn't realise I feel asleep here last night" I said.

"I see, are you okay?" He asked and I nodded,
"I am, but, nothing happened right?" I asked causing Tyreese to laugh a little, "of course not, I wouldn't do that" he said and I smiled.

We got out of bed and I got dressed into some clothes Tyreese had spared me, then we went downstairs to had food.

"Zuriel, talk to me" Tyreese then said snapping me out my thoughts, "you're a million miles away, what's on your mind?" He asked.
"Sorry it's just, it's not so simple as moving out, I mean Tom is trying to find me, I need to get my stuff eventually and how do I tell my parents" I burst finally letting it all out.

"I know it seems a lot know but, we will deal with it as it comes, me, Jadon, your brother we're all here to help zuri" Tyreese said and I smiled,
"Yeah, thank you"

"What you want to do today?" Tyreese then asked, "I don't mind, maybe not go out incase we bump into Tom" I shrugged,
"Okay but, even if you did bump into him, you know I wouldn't let anything happen to you right?" Tyreese asked and I nodded giving him a hug, my body craved his touch.

"How about we bake something?" He asked and I nodded excitedly, "yeah, that would be good" I smiled. "Cool, any suggestions of what you want to make?"

"Brownies?" I asked and he laughed,
"Okay, I think I should have all the ingredients we need" he smiled opening the cuboids and pulling out a load of stuff.

"Do we need a recipe or?" I asked and he shook his head, "nope, it's up here" he said pointing up at his head and I looked at him unconvinced,
"Seriously, I use to bake with my Nan all the time and I still do there not much to do living alone whilst also working from home" he explained and I nodded still not fully sure he would remember a whole recipe.

I followed Tyreese instructions and added ingredients to the bowl, I began mixing but soon my arms became tired, "your go" I laughed passing the bowl to Tyreese who started mixing before 'accidentally' flicking some of the liquid on me.

"Bro!" I exclaimed wiping it off my face as he laughed, I then put my hand on the flour bag and threw some at his face causing him to turn away and cough. "Fucking hell, I wasn't that harsh" he said and I laughed, "don't start something you can't finish."

"Who said I was done?" He replied getting an egg and smashing it on my head, "you didn't!" I exclaimed, getting my drink of water and throwing it all over him and then picking up his glass, "Okay okay! You win" he winced making me laugh and put the cup down.

"Look at this mess" he then sighed looking at the kitchen, "don't act like you didn't start this" I laughed taking the most of the egg I could get off off my head.

We finished cooking the brownies and tried up the mess whilst we waited, once it was done we took the brownies out and they looked good.
"Don't know why you doubted me" Tyreese laughed, "I didn't I just-"

"Just?" He asked raising one eyebrow,
"Nothing" I sighed.
"That's what I thought" he laughed and I shook my head unimpressed.

"You haven't tried it yet tho, you could be right" Tyreese then said cutting the brownie, "here" he spoke holding it up to my mouth and I took a bite. "Damnnn that's good!" I exclaimed,
"What can I say it's my grandma's special recipie" He shrugged. After food we sat down on the sofa and just watch some stuff till we decided to play fifa.
