Queen Jude.
The palace was silent, only the Queen and two royals were their, her sons. Which aren't even related by blood to her. All thanks to those bloody Saddles of the kings.
She never slept with her husband, never even touched him since their wedding. The only child of hers was Seongwha. He wasn't the kings. He doesn't even know. He was a mix of two royal bloods. That stupid fuck.
She wanted to drown him in his own blood. the blood of both kingdoms, Oléa and Phánez.
Jude rose to her heels as a messenger hawk flew into the sparse room, she was sat on her throne with boredom. The hawk perched itself against the armrest of the throne. Dappled white and brown feathers ran down the birds back, the rest grey. The letter dropping from the beak of the feathered creature. A creature of Phánez.
"Thank you." She sighed, reaching for it. She opened the letter. Instantly regretting.
To Queen of Oléa,
We are rather concerned and confused on why the king and princes haven't arrived at the palace.
We would like to know whether they are still making their way to our kingdom or not.
If they don't arrive in five days, we will send out troops and consider this deal of alliance broken. War will spread. You have our warning.
Kindly,
King of Phánez.Jude slammed the letter down in panic, where the fuck is her king?
"Guards!" She called and one rushed to her side. "Send out a search for the voyage. The king and princes haven't arrived at Phánez." She pulled herself up from the throne and charged toward the balcony.
Her train of black and white roses gracefully followed her, her crown spiking out of where it started. Her white hair blended into it.
"I Expect them back in five days." She nodded for the guard to go.
A threat from Phánez? The King of Phánez probably has his dick in someone's ass right now. They'll be back before he can pull it out. They better be.
If only Seongwha wasn't even alive. This alliance would've been so much easier..
She sighed. A maid appeared to service the stressed Queen.
"My Queen, is there anything I can do for you?" She asked with a happy chirp in her voice, calming Jude down slightly.
"No thank you. I'm fine for now." She smiled weakly as the maid hurried off at her answer.
She's too happy.

She paces around her quarters with thought, guards and maids watching her with concern. None of them asked whether she needed anything though.
Jude finally came to a stop, making her way to her vanity table and looked into the cracked mirror. Black and white.
Her hair was neatly braided into one long French plait. Gold twisting through it. Her crown stuck on her head like a magnet. She looked at her dress, it was white with black roses on it. Slim and showed her curves. The large black train with white roses dangled behind, starting at the skirt part of her dress.
Once this kingdom wasn't just black or white, it used to be white and blue. And A lot of gold. But when Jude married the king, he insisted on having black as the symbol of their kingdom, to resemble his power. She was so madly In love with him that she let him. What a silly little mistake.
But while the kings not here presently, she can do what she wants. Any color on her dress. She always picked a sky blue. That worried the maids a bit as they never wore anything different to what they had the day before.
"My Queen! We must have an urgent discussion.." a guard shoved his way into the room. She looked at his blue eyes and nodded for him to continue.
"We found the voyage. They were attacked. The king is dead, along with prince Ashen. Seongwha is nowhere to be seen." His words pierced straight through Jude's heart. Her king, her husband, is dead. Her child dead to.
A tear rolled down her eye. All a part of an act.
"Find Seongwha. I don't care where and what he's doing. Find him. Bring him here." She said with a dead tone. She was smirking inside.
She has power again.
