The walk back home was peaceful and quiet. Levi was staring at the horizon with a very spaced-out look, and I as a very nice and kind friend - let him be zoned out as much as he wanted.

Frankly, ever since that moment in his room...he has been acting as if nothing happened just like I have been. But while to me it was mere facade, I wondered how Levi felt. And today, it would be the first time we would hang out together, in a normal manner, from a while.

"Levi?" I called out his name. He looked over to me with a curious expression on his face. "What are we going to play together?" I asked in a simple way to make a conversation.

The demon's eyes widened comically in shock as if he hadn't even thought about it. "Oh! Hm- uh, it's a surprise?" He finally gave an answer. I nodded with a suspicious look in my eyes before looking forward to the moment.

Levi on the other hand sighed in relief.

The enormous aquarium in Leviathan's room reflected the light from the hall quite beautifully. That was before the mentioned demon quickly turned on the lights blinded both of us in process.

"I...shouldn't have done that..." Levi said while clutching his head in his hands.

"What? Your first time seeing light? Maybe instead of gaming we should go out and let you touch grass." I said while also clutching my head in my hands.

"What?! First, that was mean. Second, that's rich coming from you! I can't see you well but I can feel you kneeling on the ground!" The purple-haired shrieked at me. My hands immediately fell down as I stared at him in shock. "Wait what?"

With my exclamation, Levi turned around and stared at me in question. A moment passed before understanding crossed his eyes and he gasped in surprise. "Oh! LOL. I keep forgetting that you- anyway, there is a connection between demons and the humans they have a pact with!" The demon explained to me.

And there were a lot of things that crossed my mind when I came face to face with this realisation. Mammon didn't tell me anything. Levi didn't tell me anything. Even Solomon didn't casually stroll to tell me anything! My 'true friend' immediately noticed the frown on my face and sat down to me.

"So, what are we going to play?" He softly asked.

"Are you trying to distract me?"

"Yes. Is it working?"

"ABSOLUTELY! Let's play a horror game. I want to see you in distress." While I expected him to sigh tiredly at my sentence, he just chuckled quietly.
