Jay ended up buying a lot of stuff on our shopping spree for members and for me. Of course on shoot, he only bought me a cap because it would have been awkward to have him buy me so many things, but the moment, shooting stopped and we prepared for goodbyes, Jay came by my car and loaded the bags.

"What-why?" I was bewildered. "Sunbae, this is too much. You shouldn't buy me things."

"You're a friend. I can buy stuff for you." He grinned and offered me a chocolate, while taking a bit of his own.

I looked at him, and shifted my weight from one foot to another. We were friends? Since when? I didn't even know him properly. Why was he being so kind to me? A strange thought stuck my head, and I tucked my hair back.

"Sunbae... I'm shooting with Heeseung sunbae and... please don't like me like that. It's... I don't want things to go -" I stopped blabbering when saw Jay staring at me intensely, and then he burst out laughing at my face.

He rolled over, holding his stomach. I turned red. Shit. My assumption was definitely wrong. His reaction said so at least.

"Hayun, no... I don't like you like that," He said in between laughter.

I cleared my throat. "I understand now. Please stop laughing."

He made a gesture of zipping his lips, and straightened up. "It's nothing. I don't mean to make you uncomfortable though. You've been so nice to people around you, so I wanted to do something for you too." I frowned at his reply. Was Jay talking about me being nice to Heeseung? "To everyone." He clarified. "It's a thankful gift, and no it's not free."

"Okay?"

"Treat us to a meal. Like cook for us." Jay smiled, his dimple popped up. "Last time you came, it was a chaos and Heeseung hyung said you two have grown closer, so come by."

Heeseung said so? I didn't know what to say. Jay's manager came and he waved bye and left me there, standing in the parking lot, confused. I went back to my dorms absentminded. It didn't feel right to accept Jay's gifts. And they were so expensive that I didn't even dare to open or unwrap them. I could never gift him these brands with my income. And, a meal? That would nothing.

And there was one major problem with his request too.

Shua cleared her throat when I told her about the events. "You? Cooking? Unnie." she gently took my hand in hers. "I don't want to be rude but unnie, you and cooking don't come in the same sentence."

I pouted. "But, I've to learn at least one dish. I need to cook something." I started scrolling YouTube for some good channel and Shua shook her head, smiling, probably seeing me as a helpless case. I changed my clothes and freshened up before going to the war ground. The kitchen.

The doorbell rang. My other members Miku and Mihi were out to shoot some content. Shua went for the door as I stared at the shelf. My croissants looked bad. Like bad bad. I glared at the guy on the screen. How come his became perfect?

"What in-"

I raised my head. Heeseung was looking around the kitchen and I at once hid the croissants under the kitchen shelf. He narrowed his eyes playfully. "You weren't picking up your phone."

"Oh. It's on do not disturb mode. I was doing some... stuff." I gestured towards the disaster our small kitchen had turned into. "Sorry. I... I was trying to learn cooking."

Heeseung sighed. "I'm sorry. Jay went overboard with stuff. I hope you didn't mind his gesture. He wants to be friends with you."

I observed him carefully and a gasp escaped my lips as I covered my mouth. "Sunbae, don't tell me... You thought I'm not picking your calls because of Jay... And you came all the way here to make sure I'm okay?"
